Dont know about your other comments but he definitely has technique and a good eye for goal. His passing is up there with Butts, check out Bolton forums and see the reaction. He would pop up with a goal and supporters of clubs other than Bolton would think he is a handy player but in reality is useless. Persistent fouler, unfit, no legs no exaggerating. 3 million for a 26 year old captain, tells its own story.

This guy is woeful Bolton fans have been on his back for past 2 seasons, he is a Smith MkII. Lost his legs, no technique, is just a crafter.

The Newcastle United Transfer Thread: D-Day [Spoiler: Not Much Happens]

Emre was never great on the ball though, or great at anything come to think of it. Although I quite liked Emre as a player and his style, not suited to the English Premier League though. When we signed him and Parker I thought at last we have the right combo, one that would give us at least 5 years. Funny how things work out. Emre not good on the ball? No, I said not great. Learn to read doilum. Irrespective of the wording, to say he was anything but great on the ball shows a pure lack of good judgement. He was the one midfielder, I liked and feel comfortable when he was on the ball. Emre's only problem was his poor injury record. He'd walk into our team right now, and was a great player to have on the few times we had him. He had pace strength, and I remember one game in particular against Chelsea at home where he gave Lampard the run around. As I said his problem was staying on the pitch outside of that, he was a damn good midfielder. He wasn't great on the ball though hence why I said it you endbell. Why result to childish insults and try prove your point? Oh that's right you don't have one, and I'm not talking about football. He was great on the ball, i especially loved it when he would try run at a defense only to get outnumbered, tackled and bring them down with a petty foul. -
I don't think i can trust you you rate Jermaine Pennant
-
I really don't like the Man City team he has put out in all seriousness

rate solano higher than Keegan??? talking bollox as usual. Oh come on it was obviously a typo and Fredbob was referring to Solano over Beckham. You're just sidestepping the issue i accept, Sbr was a more accomplished manager, than KK, but taking age into account, and the fact keegan , had a better record here. Plus the fact, Keegan has at least one good job left in him. So your case rests on Bobbys age and your stupid idea that "Keegan has at least one good job left in him" A question for yourself. Who the f*** would ever hire Keegan again after yet another walk out? Yes he walked out after the plc at Newcastle, aside from Newcastle, You can hardly blame him for leaving Fulham & not only taking the England job, but taking it when everyone was begging him to. He 'walked out' on England when everyone wanted him to go, and when he held his hands up and said 'I'm not up to the job anymore', yes, he walked out, but take it in the context, everyone wanted him out man, he gave them his wish and was honest about his assesment. After 4 years at Man City he felt he couldnt take them further, felt the club needed a change (after getting promoted first time of asking, and establishing them in the Prem) and said he would not be signing another contract after the current one. So Man City felt it was best if he left early so they could plan ahead. How many other managers can say theyre never been sacked. Not very difficult when he walks out or quits honourably (depending on the view you take) at the slightest hint of trouble. Re England, obviosuly he would have been sacked had he not walked out/quit. For the record, I still think highly of KK (though his latest walk out decreased my rerspect significantly). I just can't agree and will not agree with anyone who says he is a better manager than SBR overall. Well how can you possible even begin to judge it, how i see it anyway was Motivaton factor: Keegan > Bobby Tactics : = Signings : Keegan > Bobby Squad Harmony: Keegan > Bobby Youth Dev : Keegan < Bobby Win Record : Keegan > Bobby But then again he didn't win anything in his whole career, so the above don't count for much. The above is my opinion, not saying its definitive. I love them both and each of their spells here equally.

Crouch - £11 million Defoe - £9 million Muntari - £7.1 million Utaka - £7 million Nugent - £6 million Doesn't matter if they're not all proven in the league, that's over £40 million spent on 5 players.. Apparently now he's finally got money to spend at the Spuds though... Pretty much all of them were gambles and have worked out well excluding Nugent and i also said not including Defoe, as i obviously mentioned him. At West Ham he was pretty big with the chequebooks too huh? Brought up players who are now winning medals left, right and centre so DEFINETLY chequebook manger.
-
Couldn't break into the Arsenal and Liverpool teams. His mistake was not moving to a club where he could play more regularly. Did you see his performances whle he was at Birmingham? Earned him a move to Liverpool. Have you seen who has shown interest in him this window. You guys talk about achievements etc. I am making judgements on what I see these players produce on the pitch. Pennant is of far greater quality than Lennon and Milner. Where is he now?
-
I don't get it.... Harry's a wheeler dealer, always has been. Just now he's doing it on a bigger scale... Exactly wheeler dealer, at West Ham barely had any resources except upcoming talent like Defoe, Lampard, Carrick, Ferdinand. To call him chequebook manager, because he is in a position to sign players now is something else. He brings in alot of bargains/free transfers in his career its hardly chequebook style. your right, he spent very little at pompey. oh wait...................... Kanu, Campbell, James all bargains. He has always had to sell to buy in most cases. When was the last big name player he signed that was proven in the Premier League besides Defoe. After all, a chequebook manager signs the top, top players who can cut it in the Premier League usually - aside Defoe? Whooo?

Have the same discussion at least 5 times a day, your never going to agree. Shepherd is a thing of the past, we have far more pressing concerns.

Great post! oh my god!! some people live in denial!! Keegen left us not because of Ashley!!! Keegen left this club because he didn't get just what he wanted, just like he has done his entire career, with every club he has managed.. He acts like a baby!!! and walks when the going gets tough! He will always be a god to me for what he did, but come on, enough is enough!! Had Ashley not bought this club we would be in a much worse state then we are in know and some of you realy have to accept that. How can say people live in denial and not even offer a single reason against any of his points?
-
Portsmouth signing Emerson, have not seen him play for a while. Was always a good player, look forward seeing what he is like now.

How does one go about replacing Pavel Nedved ..Dirk Kuyt - if papers are to be believe

no offer made, no offer made, temporary offer made and temporary offer made. kinnear's "new contract" is slightly questionable but would be a big f*** up if true. Huh? Redknapp refused to say anything and took a few days to mull it over then declared he was settled at Portsmouth. Poyet said something like it was 'not the right time'.
-
Nope, his attempts at appointing managers so far has been: Redknapp, Poyet, Venables and Kinnear. If we get rid of Kinnear who might it be next?? return of Souness?
-
That just makes you look pathetic makes u look like ur on ya own. Their fans make themselves look ridiculous every year with their 'breaking the top 4 this year', just because they got to a final they are going to lose it makes you act like a immature t***?
