There's a rumour in some austrian papers that we are in for Andreas Weimann from Aston Villa - would be quite a good addition, not a world beater but works his socks off and has more goals in him than Jonas.

Not sure about that. IF we sign those mentioned today we have; Krul, Elliot, Harper Simpson, Perch, Raylor, Saylor, Colo, Mbiwa, Williamson, Santon, that French left back, Tavernier, Debuchy. Bigi, Abeid, Cabaye, Tiote, Anita, Sissoko, Jonas. Shola, Cisse, Obertan, Marveaux, Ben Arfa, Gouffran, Sammy. Probably missing a couple but that's not the weakest squad. through ferguson in there aswell and Gosling

Just came back from Ritzing - the atmosphere was quite good for a pre season friendly. had a chat with mr. pardew, seems to be a really nice fella. Howay the lads!

he scored 22 goals for SC Freiburg in the german bundesliga last season. by all means freiburg is a low mid-table team... he was runner-up for the highest scorer in the bundesliga... and he already scored some goals this season. also, he was quoted "i want to leave freiburg" ... definetely not coming to us

Watched the Game Ried v PSV on TV, pieters looked solid. Faded at the end of the game and eventually had a cramp in injury time.
