With the amount of injuries we had it was always going to be difficult game... but we've played poorly and been completely outclassed. Edgar would struggle to get into a championship side at RB (I know he's a natural CB), and having taylor back in the side just makes us realise how good bassong actually is. On the plus side, Ameobi looked quite good when he has come on, and Guthrie looks like he is coming on a bit more which I've been impressed by. Given on the most part was outstanding. Forget about it, bring on Hull and hopefully we'll get some bodies back in.

How about the through ball to Duff and subsiquent goal we would have scored if not for yet another s*** decision? The liverpool players stopped way before that as the whistle had blown. Anyone that thinks we have scored that if he hadn't flagged offside is kidding themselves. Sorry but its true, just watch it again and you'll see.

Andy gray making a good point, saying we've only given away 2 fouls the whole half, we're not getting near them and just allowing them to play.

Edgar has been utter crap for the first 45 mins, funny that he should be the one to score!! To be fair though, apart from Given & Duff they've all been sh*t. Never thought I'd say this but the only way we can get anything from this is by playing long ball as we can't out pass them. Get Jonas & Owen off, and get on Geremi and either carroll or ameobi on.

Alonso on the bench is good for us.... but edgar is gonna be all over the place against babel....

Was a great match from the 80% I saw of it. I thought they sat back loads in the second half, and once we had stopped the threat of Modric they had nothing left (so well done JFK on the tactics). It was just a matter of breaking them down, and a brilliant bit of play from viduka was the difference (and a great forward run from duff of course). Never thought we'd win 2 in a row, and I just pray that we can kick on from here.... being just 5 points off 6th means there is loads to play for this season. Other random thoughts: - Bassong was excellent again, he's looks so comfortable at the back, and for the first time in ages I'm starting not to worry about when someone punts a ball forward towards our goal. -Thought Owen did loads of work for the team as usual, and even though he missed his 1 great chance, he still had a good game. Loved it when the crowd were singing his name. -Viduka was pretty much off the pace for most of the game, thankfully spurs sat back so much he didn't need to move too much! Hope Martins is fit for the wigan match, as I think he should be straight back into the team despite the assist. Well done lads, cracking result!!!

Woodgate played every one of those games though. I just wish King had started against Manure, then we'd be up against Dawson and someone else s***. As it is they've got a very good record with King in the side, though I suppose that was King and Woodgate rather then King and Dawson. Woodgate played 10 mins against Man Utd, and they kept them out the whole game without king as well... I'm just worried everyone is saying we're gonna batter them, but form suggest since Redknapp has come in they've been very difficult to play against (like ourselves). Its got draw writen all over it. Plus I really can't see us winning 2 in a row, or Owen scoring 3 games in a row! I hope to god I'm wrong... I f*kin hate spurs with a passion!!

They've only conceded 1 goal in the past 4 league games.... I think we're gonna struggle to score against them. But could you imagine what it would feel like to actually win games back to back... wow!

I think 3 man attack only works if we play 3 central midfielders... so that would involve dropping either duff or jonas. Can't see it happening. Would be good to see though, if we could get back to some of the form we had in that run at the end of last season we'd shoot up the league.

Would love to see Elano here. He's only been poor this season since they've moved his position when Robinho arrived. He was excellent last season, and has real quality about him, and actually scores goals from midfield! We could do with a few of them!

Probably one of my favourite nufc games of all time, along with the Arsenal 3-1 away win year before that I think!

Derby beat Stoke in the end (handball from griffin gave them a last minute penalty)... hopefully that will hurt their confidence a little coming into our match! There for the taking if they can't score against Derby!

Looks like they are playing most of their first team in the carling cup tonight... lets hope it goes to extra time!!!
