Good post, I agree. They have got liverpool away too, although you'd like to think Carroll could do us another favour and beat them too I suspect it will be a lot more clearer after this weekends fixtures. If we win it will be enormous pressure on both Chelsea and Spurs to win on Sunday against teams that will be desperate for points.

I suspect he'll play Bale at LB now. Great stuff with their injuries, even more excuses for the players to give up when things aren't going well for them! I'm still surprised he let Pav go and only replaced with Saha.

It's kind of a 5-man defence really though. This. Really hope Di Santo doesn't make it, he's been really good in the recent games I've seen him in and a big part of the reason they won those big games. If we can get an earlish goal I think we will have too much for them, but if they get to HT level anything could happen. The good thing for us is they won't settle for a draw so hopefully we'll get lots of opportunities in this one.

Our goal difference is far too inferior to spurs and arsenal so we'd still need them both to drop more points for 3rd/4th

If walcott is out for the season they'll really miss him in away games... can easily see them dropping points against stoke and brom now

I'd go with that prediction too. Its really spurs' to lose and given their fixtures I can't see them dropping points in more than 1 game. Whatever its fantastic to be involved in the race, and finally getting some recognition from pundits and the media that we're not that bad. We'll lose it for sure, but at least we'll have the Europa league. And stop a rival from getting an extra ~£20m... eg money to spend take our players away. Despite our form I just can't see anything but a defeat when we play chelsea in a few games. Though would like to think things would even up after the luiz fiasco earlier in the season.
