  1. Yeah, ideally we would have another decent experienced centre half to take him out of the firing line if he continues to have these mistakes. Unfortunately even if his confidence starts getting affected we don't have much option but to keep him in there and hope he gets through it.
  2. Gini was on the wing according to the last line-up as well iirc. We'll play as v Manure. Cool, I hope you're right.
  3. Shelvey was in the last squad. Townsend wasn't but was pretty regular until this season when I guess he hasn't played much.
  4. They're all in the matchday squad and have appeared fairly regularly form the bench, so it would weaken us.
  5. To be fair, the stuff it says in relation to the position of the arm is that "the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an infringement". Along with the other stuff it is implying you shouldn't take the position of the hand into consideration. You could argue his hand is moving towards the ball I think.
  6. I'm not happy with it, you said it wasn't better, but it is. More fool you for talking bollocks.
  7. Yes...yes it is. It's still pretty shit, but it's better.
  8. Well he effectively has to quit. The board would have to sack him and he's on the board. So the only way he can be sacked is essentially if he quits.
  9. If it wasn't for the smashing of Norwich we'd have scored the fewest too. 8 goals in the 13 other matches.
  10. We're back up to 18th! McClaren is playing a blinder here.
  11. We were there before Sunderland scored, like. Nope To be fair we were on goal difference.
  12. He has hasn't he ? Forest. The second time at Twente too. Middlesbrough presumably when he got the England job. Wolfsburg/Forest? Or was he sacked like at Derby? As Wullie says, he quit at Forest. I'm pretty sure he was sacked by Wolfsburg,

  14. Footy fans are morons in general. Look at our lot, many wanted Bobby peddled. Means nowt. He did a very good job at Boro, keeping them up, winning a trophy, getting to Europe and bringing on youth. They would f***ing kill for those days now. I know plenty of Everton fans who constantly asked questions of Moyes and were delighted to see him leave. For the time Middlesbrough were pretty big spenders which helped contribute to the success. The football was awful which I believe was why the fans didn't like him. While you can say that perhaps McClaren has had more success, I would say he has also had a lot more failure too.
  15. With Hatem performing so well for his club and getting called up to France, Pardew has played this one to perfection. Really had his eye on the long term goals there.
  16. Fastest hat trick in history.
