Sounds class. Do tell more. Me and a mate are trying to combine travelling with football to a reasonable price. Went to Milano and watched Inter - Caligari (three nights in four star hotel, flight and match ticket totalling to £120 per person), Spurs - Blackburn (he's a Spurs fan and we stayed at my sisters place so we only spent around £90 on flights and match ticket) and now Eintracht - Hoffenheim (four star hotel for four nights, flights and match ticket £85). Been to a game in Sweden (where we live) as well and will try and head to Denmark this month. June and july will get tough to catch games due to WC, so we'll probably have to try and squeeze in a couple of countries in the same month later on, like Portugal/Spain combo or something...

I spent the weekend in Frankfurt watching Eintracht Frankfurt - Hoffenheim as part of a "watch twelve games in twelve different countries in one year" thing. Was a crap game but Halil did beat on his man on a couple of occasions but had poor crosses. Hoffenheim had a quick striker who scored a brace at the end of the game but I wasn't impressed by anyone from that game really.

Could be worth a punt, just obviously depends on the price.. Babel is one of the least intelligent footballers I've seen in a while. Lacks vision and can't pass the ball. I don't know if this is down to the way Liverpool play (and play him) or if he really is that bad. On the good side though, he knows how to hit the ball and is one of the fastest players in PL today.

About the penalty shout and whether it was offside or not I reckon the ref didn't dare to take an uncomfortable decision. That said, the refs in Spain tend to give freekicks and penalties for the slightest of touches so Barca perhaps aren't used to the kind of refereeing. Conclusion, shit ref and in Spain Barca will have the same advantage with the referees as Inter had today and I would assume Barca to go through

Can't really see Barca leaving the pitch without scoring for two consecutive games. The game against Espanyol you could see why they bought Zlatan, to sort of get a plan B when their plan a, which is passing the ball around like crazy, fails. We've scored one goal. One. Which was by a defender. Our "best" striker is out injured, as is our best midfielder. Our keeper is f***ing s****, and we're playing a CD a winger as fullbacks. Our new star player, Sebastian Eguren, on loan from Villareal, hasn't impressed at all. All in all, we're pretty much hopeless, and until our new loan signing from Brazil is able to play, I don't see us turning it around. Winning 2-0 at half time Miran "Toon supporter" Burgic with his first goal for well over a season last time i listen to you!! and Burgic grabs a brace as AIK go 3-0 up! Kalmar are really clueless without the Elm brothers by the looks of it

Cheapest are 30-something at the very top tier, which is miles off the pitch. When I was in Barcelona five years ago I paid €36 and ended up three rows from the very top. Wasn't meant to be going to a game when I was there but had time over that night so I'm fairly alright with it. 4-4 against Villarreal if I'm not mistaken and I think Ronaldinho got a hat trick (couldn't make out one player from another up there )

kaka and benzema for flop's of the season aye, said at the start of the season that they lack iniesta or xavi type players who can dictate the flow of a game through controlling possession. alonso is the closest but he's only one player, and not really as fluid as barca's equivalents. becoming top heavy with players like kaka, ronaldo, benzema etc doesn't help them improve in the middle third of the pitch. I reckon they played a lot better when Guti came in, and he's about to leave as well..

Actually , ours isn't too clever either . We've won 18 in our past 5 premier league seasons :-[ Fulham only won 9 in their last five PL seasons. Shows how important it is to get results at home

How about that away goal rule? Away goal rule or not , that's pretty astonishing Indeed it is. They qualified to the EL after drawing three and losing three(just like APOEL but AM had better goal difference). In EL they've played six games, drawn five and won one. Against Galatasaray they drew 1-1 at home and won 2-1 in Turkey, and against Sporting Lissabon it was a goalless draw at home and 2-2 in Portugal. Against Valencia history repeated itself, 0-0 at home and 2-2 in Valencia. So what have we learned from this? It's not important to win, a draw is just as good and to score away from home.
