  1. For those of you who haven't seen Ferguson, some bloke filmed it on his phone and posted it on good old youtube
  2. Good then I didn't bet on the game, even though it's 3-2 now which is all Bayern needs. I still hope for a draw so I can throw this back at you though:)

    Messi

He's just 22 and look what he has won already: Barcelona Spanish League (3): 2004–05, 2005–06, 2008–09 Spanish Cup: (1) 2008–09 Spanish Supercup (3): 2005, 2006, 2009 UEFA Champions League (2): 2005-06[134] [135] [136], 2008–09 UEFA Super Cup (1): 2009 FIFA Club World Cup (1): 2009 International FIFA U-20 World Cup: 2005 Olympic Gold Medal: 2008 Individual FIFA U-20 World Cup Top Scorer: 2005 FIFA U-20 World Cup Player of the Tournament: 2005 Copa América Young Player of the Tournament: 2007 U-21 European Footballer of the Year: 2007 Player of the Year of Argentina: 2005, 2007, 2009 FIFPro Special Young Player of the Year: 2006–2007, 2007–2008 FIFPro World Young Player of the Year: 2005–2006, 2006–2007, 2007–2008 World Soccer Young Player of the Year: 2005–2006, 2006–2007, 2007–2008 Premio Don Balón (Best Foreign Player in La Liga): 2006–2007, 2008–2009 EFE Trophy (Best Ibero-American Player in La Liga): 2006–2007, 2008–2009 FIFPro World XI: 2006–2007, 2007–2008, 2008–2009 UEFA Team of the Year: 2007–2008, 2008–2009 FIFA Team of the Year: 2008, 2009 UEFA Champions League Top Scorer: 2008–2009 Trofeo Alfredo Di Stéfano: 2008–2009 UEFA Club Forward of the Year: 2008–2009 UEFA Club Footballer of the Year: 2008–2009 LFP Best Player: 2008–2009 LFP Best Striker: 2008–2009 Onze d'Or: 2009 Ballon d'Or: 2009 World Soccer Player of the Year: 2009 FIFA Club World Cup Golden Ball: 2009 Toyota Award: 2009 FIFA World Player of the Year: 2009 FIFPro World Player of the Year: 2008–09 That said, he probably would need to win a World Cup to be considered to be the greatest or even on par with Maradona, even though I rate him higher since the level is higher now-a-days I would say
  4. Why is everyone so sure of Man Utd winning tomorrow? Bayern will have Schweinsteiger and Robben back for the game so they won't lose the midfield battle like they did last week (thankfully Ferguson did some weird substituions allowing Bayern back in the game) while Man Utd will probably be without Rooney. If Man Utd play like they did against Chelsea I would expect a draw tomorrow but I will stay clear of the game
  5. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/n/newcastle_united/8603960.stm :promotion: :promotion: Let's give Sheffield a good whooping tonight as well!
  6. It's unexpected to find Nolan on a football pitch so he's off to a good start
  7. Speaking of France, did anyone bet on the Ajaccio - Bastia game today? Been rumours about that game being fixed in favour for bottom-side Bastia, who before this game played 15 away recording W0D3L12. Final score, you might ask? 0-1...
  8. Feeling adventurous £2 on Stoke-Hull 1-1 full time score and Reading to win away to Ipswich. Returns about £40. Bar from perhaps Arsenal, are there any real bankers for tomorrow? I haven't really been arsed to check France, Spain etc
  9. Laid a tenner on that double, returned about £35 so cheers!
  10. Is it just me or does the germans look huge in comparison? Everyone bar Lahm of course. Before hand I though Ribery was going to rape Neville but so far he has only challenged him once really.
  11. So you don't believe in your own AIK? They're away to GAIS, a side they haven't lost to in 19 years and you can get DNB at 8/11 right now. And yes, Mjällby is probably this years equivalent to Burnley and Hull last year. High flying in the first half until they get found out.
  12. I have to stop you right here. Olsson usually plays LB and he is probably one of the worst, if not the worst, defender in PL. He's fairly quick but way too light-weighted and can't tackle. Fat Sam has played Olsson in midfield a couple of times now (where he can do little harm) where he can use his speed better, but his left foot and vision is not good enough for PL. If we want to go for a swede who can play both in midfield and defense we should look at Seb Larsson at Birmingham. McLeish has benched him for a couple of games now and if I'm not mistaken he hasn't signed a new contract yet so he could arrive on the cheap. If we want to go for a Blackburn Rovers player on the other hand, I would go for N'Zonzi who impressed me. No chance of him leaving Rovers for us I think but he's quality
  13. I couldn't care less about the SPL, but Mowbray is the main reason for the surge in form for Middlesbrough 9 - All but one of the 9 goals scored by Boro at the Riverside in 2010 have come from players signed from Celtic in January. This was 22/3 so don't know how accurate it is right now.
  14. I agree that gold can look tacky but when used sparingly i think it can look really nice. The little gold features on that bottom shirt look class Don't get me wrong, I think the bottom shirt looks great but I would prefer it if the gold details were to be dark blue or something instead. It's going to be interesting to see what Puma can make of this.
  15. Good efforts but is it just me who thinks gold looks kind of tacky? Sure, we're probably going to win the Championship but that doesn't really grant us using gold on our shirts in PL... However, the little magpie that's been in the last few mock ups is ace
  16. Was thinking of putting a tenner on that earlier, but then I read this little stat: 1 - West Ham have played 20 Premier League games on a Tuesday and have won only one of them. Bluesday. Last time I backed West Ham was against Bolton so I decided to stay away from this game. West Ham will win 2,3-0 just because of this...
  17. Looks like it says a name (Pancrate) and 21 on the one to "mid left". "Mid right" seems to be Steven Taylor That's what I could see right now at lest:)
  18. Did I hear Bradley Orr there? Prediction: Carroll to score a header in 85th for a boring 1-1 draw

    Champions League

Probably going to be Man United - Barca in the final this year as well..
  20. When did Dempsey return from his injury?
  21. The article hints he's on around £35k a week which is quite a bargain for someone his class.
  22. He could probably be Pavlyuchenkos tutor
  23. Have we agreed on Distin opted against us due to the wages? If so, I'd put him in any team
