    St James' Park

So in one paragraph he describes the stadium as "out of the city" and here it's a new stadium "elsewhere in the city" Ryder cant make up his mind
  2. Don't the new squad cost ratio rules kick in on the 1st July? If so, previous years losses will not longer count

    sunderland

Have they commented that we had a Fender advert on the back of the shirt on Wednesday?

    MLF - massive lists fans
  5. Only because it "impacted" Liverpool - anyone else other than the Cartel3 he would have got away with it
  6. Two ex-Man U players doing the draw, what could possibly go wrong

    St James' Park

It's more certain this will happen with the current or slightly expanded SJP in order to generate revenue, certainly will be a bigger rise than it would with a newer stadium with more corporate facilities available
  8. Wasn't it an $18m package - Fee + Miggy's contract. Miggy was supposed to have wanted more for the contract so the fee would have been reduced, tied into the fact Atlanta are also due a % of the sale so this would have resulted in a PSR loss for us rather than profit hence the deal was canned. Can't remember the source for this so may have been total "ITK" bollocks at the time but sort of makes sense why we pulled the plug.
  9. Agreed. If its a domestic transfer, given he's a CF, you would expect him breaking the british transfer record if he's sold within the next 12 months
  10. "Big" Ange just been interviewed looking like a child whose just been smacked by his parents. Is it a North London thing that their managers are such bad losers/cry babies when they get beat
  11. Sky coverage is just getting worse, if that's even possible ...
  12. Think they've got their Bruno's confused Wor Bruno 423Km covered; theirs 390Km
  13. Yep, found it just after we've scored
  14. My back of fag packet calculations have the £40m fee amortised over 3.5 years working out at ~£952k/month, so if he signed a new contract in September, we've amortised ~£19m of his fee so far. Assuming its a new 5 year contract the remainder of the fee now costs us ~£350k/month (£4.2m/year). Thats around £600k/month to play with for his improved wages so unless we've added more than £150k/week to his current salary, we're in no worse position than we were before financially
  15. So No Hope is shit stirring again - if, and its a big if, there is a modicum of truth to this then we'll be doing a "Parrish" and demanding superstar money for him
  16. All connected, reaction to Hysel and the subsequent UEFA ban for all English clubs - Govt at the time attempting to kerb the "hooliganism problem"
  17. Stupid law, you can't drink alcohol within "sight of the field of play" - so its ok to have beer in the stands as long as you cant see the pitch. European games used to be a total ban on alcohol until a couple of seasons ago when UEFA relaxed the rule to match.
  18. Caicedo also went to Chelsea for £115m
  19. They may be, they may not, depends if they are getting "preferential" loan rates significantly below "market value" If they are only paying 2-3% for example
  20. Wouldn't count as revenue - we need a PIF £5bn loan the club to then spend that on Hotels & infrastructure and sell it on bit by bit each year back to PIF
  21. So if they have to introduce the shareholder loan costs you'd think this would need to be backdated to the introduction of the FMV rules (i.e 2021)? Surely this is going to hammer a vast number of clubs now (Arsenal, Brighton, Chelsea, Leicester, Bournemouth, Wolves, Brentford and Especially Everton) You wonder if there will be a desire to get the rules abolished by the clubs themselves?
