He's not a bad footballer. Obviously shouldn't start every game but he'd do a better job than the dross we've got on the bench. I entirely disagree tbh. He's about as average as you can get. The potential saving grace we have is that the manager has very little input here. So recruitment will hopefully happen and if/ when Pardew is sacked the new guy will not be looking to start all over in terms of personnel . With that said I'm still happy for us to sign good players. Those who aren't are going a step too far imo
