  1. There's someone on there posting as "BruceBall" with reasoned and respectful posts, trying to share and distill our experiences into something they might understand. One would think shared experience would lead to shared acknowledgement and common ground. Don't know why he's bothering, the latest craic is "Has Neymar and Mbappe signed yet?" . Almost like they're trying desperately to prove my earlier point about knowing absolutely fuck all about another club and it's fans or something.
  2. Again, online fans of other clubs spouting utter horseshit about another club is nothing new or surprising. I try to only comment on what I know, and with regards to WBA, it's that Bruce is an incompetent leeching arsehole, utterly hopeless at his job for 2 decades and a club like that can and should do better. I certainly wouldn't try to comment on Cyrille Regis, or Bryan Robson's time as players there (beyond what I saw on MOTD and that they were great players generally), or Ron Saunders as manager or their fans as people (given i've never met any) because I don't fucking know.
  3. Go on any online fan forum in the country and you'll find a good majority who think they know what they're talking about with regards to other clubs and their fans and in reality they generally know fuck all. Then go watch some of those Tyneside Life videos on YT, just for one example, with fans of other clubs being interviewed before a game at Newcastle, and they're mingling and having a great time in our city. I've personally found over time that quite literally nobody else knows better about how a player or manager has done at a club, than fans of that club. Calling that into question in the blinkered, force-fed-media-bollocks fashion that many do, just proves how little they actually know. I bet most making those comments have never even been to Newcastle, just regurgitate what they're told. It actually pisses me off a bit after I spent a good 15 minutes writing out my rant on a prior page about the PFM, Bruce and clubs like WBA getting shit on by these leeches but I bet if I went to that area, i'd find common ground and meet a good many people who share similar views and so I don't give that stuff much credence, just online dimwits being led by others' views.
  4. More of a general point/rant on PFM and the state of modern "boardrooms". This whole circus of Bruce and his hopeless cabal of "coaches" over the past 3 years+ should serve as a huge cautionary tale. Surely enough is enough man. Bruce and his "type" only hang around the game because these idiot CEOs haven't got the good sense they were born with and no imagination to do things differently, beyond handing these positions out to someone with a name. Surely to God there are some young up and coming coaches lower down the leagues that a sizeable club like WBA could look to, instead of handing out free money to these leeching pricks? A young coach with modern ideas and at least the will to improve and learn instead of these dinosaur cunts only interested in a payoff and rolling out the same tired cliches? It's beyond a joke that this carry on continues. There's no excuses any more man. WBA et al, fucking learn from this pathetic charade. To contradict myself slightly, I'm just glad he's someone else's problem now. As much as I want to see change in the way all clubs do things, it hurts my head and heart to think about it. I try to no longer wonder about his methods or lack of them because it tires me out and makes me angry. We're a year removed from Ashley and Bruce, we're now run by professionals who care and managed and coached like a real PL club. Hard as it is to do and as much as I relish watching him implode at another club after all the grief we got for wanting him out, it's time to just enjoy what is happening here and let go. When I can finally fully do that, it'll feel wonderful, I feel like i'm close.
  5. It’s not in my nature to surrender and go meekly = pay me off I know I’m not everybody’s cup of tea, especially the supporters = every supporter of every club you've managed, except maybe Hull, hates you given time I still think I can take this club where it wants to be = in reality, top 6 to bottom 3. Not what they had in mind you destructive bastard.
  6. Do these hopeless, behind-the-times CEO's who keep employing this cancerous leech, even bother to interview him? Surely to God not? I mean after a few minutes of his miserable cliched tripe, i'd personally be ready to put my head through a wall, not give the swine an important job with a built-in payoff of millions and no real pay-based emphasis on performance and getting it right. Just a ludicrous gravy train of stupidity in English football at far too many levels. This has to be his final job, I wouldn't wish the cunt on anyone. Seriously, this PFM shit HAS to end man. EH reportedly went into his meeting with AS and PIF with dossiers on playing staff, a tremendous amount of data on how he was going to follow through with his ambitious plans, a staff he felt proven and trustworthy to bring with him and a huge presentation on his strategy to improve the current players based on the data compiled and how he saw the club evolving. What on earth does this utter cretin bring with him? A collection of useless, past-it coaches, his own son who has no track record in the game at all and no doubt a pile of cliched bollocks about what he's going to do with nothing to back it up except a well-trodden plan to blame everything but himself when it inevitably goes wrong. I mean how on earth does he keep getting employed? It has to end here, the days of the PFM are over. Fuck off you wretch.
  7. See he got "difficult" in there again as well as implying they were unlucky and can still turn it all around, while it's still somehow not his fault at all. Staggering he never gets pulled for any of it in the post-match interviews.
  8. "I'll never walk away from a challenge, it's not in my DNA." Convenient excuse to be wheeled out whenever a payout is in the offing and he's being pressured to resign.
  9. Just watched the full replay on Peacock, he had a very decent game. Yes, a couple of moments where he stumbled on the ball, but generally did well, carried a few counter attacks, involved throughout.
  10. Good marks, I had Almiron at 9.5 because he wasted a pass on 85 minutes. I kid, he was absolutely everywhere, fabulous performance. All the others are sound, would give Botman a 8.5, he makes Schar even better just by being on the pitch.
  11. 9.5/10 performance honestly. Aside from the two goals, the first a strike any player in the world would have been proud of, he was fucking everywhere.
  12. Championship points after 11 games: Darren Moore - 21 Pts (2018/19) Slaven Bilic - 22 Pts (2019/20) Valerien Ismael - 22 Pts (2021/22) Steve Bruce - 10 Pts (2022/23) Fucking scandalous this cunt

Fair Aye, there may only be a few games a season that truly "suit" his style. He may integrate better as time goes on and EH's coaching sinks in, maybe he'll just be a late bloomer, it's hard to say. He's still young, definitely needs support and time if he's ever going to truly get it.

I'm not his biggest fan but you give credit when it's due. Still don't really know what his best position is, he clearly functions best in a counter-attacking team. I don't see him as a true CM really, he lacks the attributes generally needed, but he contributed today.

What the matter with you man? You've been on all afternoon with negativity. If you can't find anything to be happy with today, I'd suggest you're not going to find it in football.
  16. You were out of your depth as a manager 20 years ago. Please make this your finish you fat, horrible, cheating, lazy, ignorant cunt. Do the decent thing, take your ill-gotten, undeserved proceeds from being utterly shit at your job for two decades and fuck off into the sunset.
  17. For the money spent and how poor they look, Moyes should be getting absolute pelters from all sides.
  18. Sad but true, all he ever really picked up on was how to play the management game, keep getting jobs, never get criticism from the pathetic British PFM-loving media while not giving a fuck about the outcome or future of the clubs he managed and lining his flabby greasy bank account. What a bastard. The worst.
  19. The thick fuck never learned a single thing in over 20 years of management.
  20. Never known a manager in history roll up so many sleeves, remove so much dust or batten down so many hatches.
  21. Won't hear peep out of them until he gets the bullet and another massive payoff for being shite.
  22. Fabianski with a brilliant save, West Ham look shit as usual
  23. Wonder what that berk chairman thinks now after describing Bruce as a safe pair of hands
  24. Can't help it, hate seeing Paqueta lining up for these cockney spiv twats
