Ran on to celebrate, side of the pitch like but still
-
Some goal Doucore, fans on the pitch, tossers
-
Something satisfying about Villa being utterly shit after all the hype and money spent.
-
Nifty finish Richarlison, crap defending though
-
Everton started brightly, some good crosses, fans seemed behind them then Keane dallied, Arma finished and it's been mostly Saints after that. Few boos at half time, Rafa on a hiding to nothing there like, no patience, owners will obviously give him time but some of their tosser fans can't wait to turn and be "right"
-
Some finish by Vardy
-
Villa 2 down
-
Arma looking a handful, playing on the shoulder of the last defender, looks confident and lively
-
Nice finish Arma, the fuck was Keane playing at?
-
Villa losing
-
Pickford's kicking has not improved by even a cunt hair.
-
Feels like Vardy has been starting up front for Leicester for about 25 seasons

The real pity is, I actually like the squad mostly. One or two stooges apart, they're a really likeable and talented bunch and in a parallel universe under a humble and ambitious owner and a progressive coaching setup, i'd be relatively excited at what they could achieve. What a shame we're being run by the fat fucking gangster Jabba the Hutt and one of his useless fat Gamorrean Guards is lumbering around squealing and doing the coaching.

"Where's Willick Steve??! Is eee on ees waay? Where's Willick, tell iz! Where is eee" "I haven't a clue" "Ye have man"
-
In a parallel universe under and ambitious owner and a proper coaching setup geared to incremental progress each season, this would truly be worth celebrating.

Why isn't retirement even a mentioned option instead of playing for a plastic shithouse club alongside pricks like Ramos because nobody else can afford to pay him billions a week? He's achieved everything and has enough money to buy the fucking planet 3 times, why not just put his feet up? A one club man with Barcelona his entire career is surely worth more than a couple of years playing for the French Harlem Globetrotters. I'm not saying he has to retire, if he wants to keep playing obviously, but not sure why it hasn't been mentioned at all.

14 years of this shite. Owned by a billionaire and operating in the richest league in the world and we act like we're Arkwright's corner shop and everyone else is Tesco. Where the fuck is the money? How do we get away with barely anyone in the media interrogating and hanging out to dry the utter absurdity of our transfer dealings year after year after fucking year?

I highly doubt you could have summed up the majority of our fanbase any better if you tried.

UEFA Euro 2020 Final: England 1 - 1 Italy (Italy win 3-2 on pens)

Don't disagree at all, just attempting to find something to cling to but yeah, it's a final and we had to win. -

Branko put it better than I could. Real mix of emotions, most prominent one being it's a hugely missed opportunity that might not happen again. In a parallel universe, GS grows a pair of balls and subs better and we play more positively and win. It was nice to care about the national team again for a short while at least. If they take the real positives out of this and are coached with more bollocks in future, who knows what they might achieve. -

Cold light of day you're right of course. I watched Mancini, he was tweaking and changing throughout, GS is still a bit too reactive for me, he allowed Italy to pretty much dominate 75% of the game. -

Initial heat of the moment reaction - we just weren't brave enough and should have gone for it before penalties and risked it. Waited far too long to get on the subs as i've felt before but we've squeaked through in previous games, vindicating those decisions. Never really doubted the outcome once it got to penalties. In any case - brave or not, the end result is likely the same. Italy were much better with the ball and their press killed us all game, we couldn't seem to hold onto the ball for more than a few passes. Thought it was a bit mad to have the fifth penalty fall on the shoulders of a kid, knowing how crucial it could be. Easy to be wise after. After a bit of reflection - Southgate wrung pretty much everything he could out of that group in a frantic and compressed tournament format after a long season. He tried his best to game manage us through and they came up against a fit and tactically excellent Italy. The bottom line is, they need more experience. In 2 to 4 years with that, they could be something special, I feel that there's definitely a tournament win in that collective of players. -
One of those players who combined being a big man with great all-round skill as well, remember him well from the 82 world cup. Likeable as a pundit later on too. Far too young really. RIP.
