Don't think i've ever known the refereeing in this country be worse than it is right now, going back to the 80s.

I mean aye that's one thing, but i'd think that even someone with an IQ in single digits working at that clown show would recognize that perhaps spending endlessly doesn't work, it's very fucking obvious it doesn't work and that having a cohesive medium and long-term plan beyond spending more, allied to team spirit being fostered would be things that might lead them towards success instead of mid-table embarrassment again.

Headline on BBC "Chelsea already working on January". That's always the solution for them isn't it, just spend more and more, when will they learn man

Corruption. -
And another clean sheet, 4 consecutive
-
2 goals in 2 minutes in that game and nearly a third a minute after, still don't know how Goddard missed 1-1 with Parkes
-
All top notch local talent. Alan Thompson was a cracking player, hated that he had to leave to excel at places like Bolton and Villa.
-
Albert was great, so classy and different to what we'd had before. I also have a bit of a soft spot for Howey. He came into the side early in the 92/93 season and I recall being amazed at how easily he transitioned from a modest Forward the season before to a dominant CB. Think it was Luton at home around the third or fourth game of that season and he just bossed Mick Harford around like he'd been a CB all his career. Not gonna try to compare him to Botman or Woodgate like but I found him infinitely preferable as a basic defender to someone like Colo.

Good. Wasn't even an isolated incident, saw bottles flying after the Gordon goal as well. Daft fuckers need to piss off back to the Championship and take their medieval ways to Stoke and Hull. -
Having an opinion on a signing is normal, and we as fans don't always love every signing, it's the utter shredding the lad took from a lot of posters before he'd even kicked a ball. That's without mentioning the complete lack of trust it showed in EH and the recruitment team when all they've done is deliver signings and players who have moved us on several levels.
-
Nobody knows how any new signing will do for certain. I'm almost as uncomfortable at the "told you so" posts as the original ridiculous hostility and lack of faith in the player/signing, plus the embarrassing comments about his appearance. All I would say is, anyone writing off a new Eddie Howe signing, especially before they've even kicked a ball for us, let alone been given time to settle and develop, needs their head examining. He's improved every single player he's worked with FFS. Gordon's performances and improvement are no surprise whatsoever.

Wonder if Everton fans still think Dwight McNeil is better
-
12m. I will continue to laugh at this fee each morning till my last day.
-
So happy for him. His development and improvement has been sensational and he's always looked a threat to score, will be massive for his confidence.

Might be a prem record for biggest away win, not sure. That 9-0 Man Utd game was home -

They put 9 past Ipswich at home late 90s I think. Seem to recall Cole scoring 4 or 5 in the same game. -

I think every possibility was posted about 40 times each over the past 3 pages -
Early doors but doesn't look a signing to make a difference. I heard the usual pundits talking it up as transformative but I thought I was missing something, 70m for a player who did mostly fuck all for several years at Chelsea.

Chelsea are a right laugh like. I look at their lineup and wonder where the money actually went. If Poch can't sort them into something resembling a unit, not sure who realistically can.

The actual match thread will be a hoot today -
Might have been yeah, good call. Not really seeing the fuss yet Kaka - What are your thoughts here? Wrong team for him?

Sure there was someone on here going on about Beto this past summer, made it sound like Everton got their mitts on prime original Ronaldo, not seen him do anything yet like
