  1. Anyway, it's worked a treat. Even Pardew's staunchstest enemies are confused and falsely hopeful. It's happened all before too. You should all read up on the "club is for sale" saga.
  2. http://www.kbapr.com/our-services/story-brokering/
  3. I think you're being gullible tbh. It's not such a stretch at all to imagine that his PR consultant advised him to talk publically to a journalist and staging it in a location where he was always likely to run into journalists.
  4. Surely you don't actually believe this SanToon? Ashley hasn't spoken to the press for 5 years or more, yet he just happened to be drunk outside of a Soho pub and willing to speak his mind to somebody who announced being a journalist, just days after engaging a PR consultant specialised in crisis management and story telling?
  5. This. How people can't see it for what it is I'll never know. That Soho PR dickhead they've hired is playing a blinder.
  6. Just seen Pardew's comments, what a load of crap. Sammy should just demand to be transfer listed for the sake of his career.
  7. Dear me, just seen their statement. Fair play, these are not messing about. Can you imagine Pardew wanting to make a sub (probably LB straight swap as per usual) on Saturday?
  8. I will await further details before laying into Pardew or the club, but it's not looking good for them at the moment.
  9. Spot on. If anything I think a passionate, loud crowd brings out the best in players much better than a complacent, silent one. It's not as if most of our squad will even know what we're singing either.
  10. It's entirely tedious bullshit. It's alright to have that conversation but £12m or whatever they paid isn't really that much of a gamble for a 25 year old striker who scored 18 goals in 23 matches in the Mexican league and 3 in 3 in the WC. Ashley and Pardew have convinced many that £12m is a huge investment, even for Premier League clubs that are literally rolling in money. We won't pay more than about £6m on a striker. Absolutely. It really has been a lesson in propaganda and lowering expectations.
