  1. Has anyone listened to his latest press conference? "In the year of 2007 we have played 27 matches, Liverpool play maybe 3 or 4" Losing it...
  2. Very entertaining game, the highlights being Kaka's second (regardless of the defending, that was sensational), and Scholes' sublime pass for Rooney's first.
  3. Forgettin Luque mate? Give it a fucking rest - you are not funny.

    Michael Chopra

Perhaps not as they are older and have proven in the past they are average players, this is Chopra's first full season as a first team player and he has done very well.
  5. ...and in other news, HTL implodes.

  7. We're not in a position to pay squad players in excess of £50k a week, though.

Albert Luque. A goal or assist in every other game he has started, in such adverse conditions, you have to applaud him.
  9. Owen? What about him? Replaceable & very costly, in hindsight a big mistake, a one i hope is rectified this summer with either Manu or Liverpool taking him off our hands, nothing would please me more to see us get our money back, we might just if them two clubs go at it for him, if not near enough £12m+ Owen, replaceable? Care to name a finisher of his calibre (there are few on the planet) who would be willing to come to a mid-table club? Owen is about as one dimensional as they come, very good at what he does, but not an all rounder by any means. Finishing isn't the be all and end all of a footballer or even a striker, if so we should snap up Fowler at the end of the season on a free who is by far a more complete finisher than Owen, would that do you, and while were at it we'll buy a CB who can only tackle, but is shit at everything else, oh we've got one, Bramble. That's such a ridiculous analogy i can't be bothered to write a sensible reply.

  11. I'll have to use sarcasm tags next time.
  12. Thinly veiled come-and-get-me plea to the top 4, in my opinion.
  13. Who do you think is going to pay Luque 40k a week?
  14. Aww come on, at least he got into the position, which I am quite certain noone else would have, and when he looked up Dyer was in the box the he put his head down and by the time he'd played it Dyer had stopped completely and it looked like a shit ball. He looked good, promising. I like the look of him too, but that was a great chance to be an instant hero.
  15. Shame Carroll bottled it at the end.
  16. Season over?? Where did we finish?! We'll see.
  17. Chelsea have it won now.
  18. Oh, i thought it was allowed once the goalkeeper had released the ball too.
  19. Solskjær nicks it from Schwarcz and scores a perfectly good goal - it's disallowed and he gets booked.
  20. 1-0 Manchester United already, Richardson.
  21. Good header - two assists for Cesc.
  22. Awful defending by Chimbonda... 1-1, Touré.

    Given's injuries

We'd probably make a small profit and get the better goalkeeper. For what its worth, Given is the better keeper, but such a move would be very good business if Given's stomach injury meant that Given was going to miss 10+ games a season from now on. Marginally, Gordon has potential to be very, very good.
