...yet Martins has 10 league goals & Berbatov has 8. Berbatov looks much the better player tbh. Different style of player to Martins but he would be the ideal partner for him, Berbatov is a much more involved player, great link up play and vision . Swap Owen for Berbatov and I would not complain. Owen & Berbatov would probably be the best partnership in the Premiership.

I agree and i'd swap them in an instant, but the suggestion Berbatov has adjusted any quicker is bemusing. I've said before i don't think Martins will improve with age, the flaws in his game will remain along with his ability to score goals. The trouble is, we already have a classier version in Michael Owen.

Home defeats against Fulham, Sheffield Utd, Birmingham & Man City. Unacceptable. I just can't see any case for keeping Roeder, even Shearer would preferable.

BBC currently show all England home games live.It will be no different except for a lack of quality. ...sounds like more than just the home games.

5 would have been preferable, to be honest. This does equal more England games on terrestrial though, doesn't it?

There's no doubt Nolberto has been somewhat of a revelation at right-back this year, but do you think he's good enough to keep the position next season? Right-back has seemingly slipped down the list of priorities in the Summer and with Roeder continually talking up Carr i suspect he thinks we already have enough strength in that area. I am undecided wether we need to spend a share of our supposedly limited budget on someone of Lucas Neill's ilk, or take a gamble on a young full-back from the lower leagues to shadow Solano for a couple of seasons and eventually takeover from him. Thoughts?
