Uhhh.... did you take a note from Mort's book, or what?
-
In other news..... (from that page) "Robbie Savage says he snubbed Sunderland because boss Roy Keane didn't want him enough. Savage has elected to join Paul Jewell's Derby County in a £1.5million move." Musn't of had enough hair on his body to warrant Keano making a 'super serious' move for him. My favourite bit of that story was Savage proclaiming: "I'm the type of player that can keep a team in the Premier League." Doesn't do much to dispel his cunt face status, does he?

ditto. Will you be happy with him?
-
It didn't seem that bad. Have you seen us play?
-
Think we've all come to that conclusion, mate. We're just numb with pain right now.
-
I don't know if I can even bare to watch this.
-
Get f**king rid of them too! Serves them right for walking out on us! YEAH! The Bolton Troller is right! Arrrrrrggghhhh!!!! Fire Anelka while you're at it! He wants out too!
-
Well, at least there's never a dull moment in the Toon. Think how boring it would be supporting a stable club!
-
Took you a while to lift that rock up and crawl out. Ahhh.... true to form he is.
-
Really? Not Alan Smith? *wait, he's not a CM. My bad.
-
Can't help but agree, mate. We could have Wenger managing and the same players, but we wouldn't see the same success. Our squad isn't very good. Our entire movement going forward comes from our left back. Haha... and he's a midfielder!!!
-
Well, at least I didn't have to wait as long today to see the dross served up. Some unlucky things happened but overall we were shit. Not fun being a Toon fan.
-
I was going to type that as well, but thought it was too mean.
-
Isnt there such a word? been using it for God knows how long . One too many 'er's there, mate.
-
Skirge, why would the obvious be deployed? Where's the fun in that? We'll not be able to complain and call for Sam's head if he plays the team we've all been screaming for.
-
True, but given what we saw today against a £100 mil pound team away from home, there is no excuse about Sam handicapping them with his tactics. It is down to the players. There is no formation in the world that forces bad passes and poor defending. What I'd like to see now is Mort come out and give Sam another vote of confidence, right away. Let the players know they are playing for their own careers, not his. There can be no sitting back and falling back on bad habits. All too often in most sports, the players are held unaccountable. Shape the fuck up and have a go at the opposition. Look at what Man City have done all season by having belief in themselves.
-
You were waiting for Chelsea to score a goal that was 5 yards offside? Give over, man, any other team would have done the same.
-
Like some have alluded to, the only thing wrong with Shay Given is that he hasn't won us any points this season. Other than that, he's been steady Eddie. Are there any keepers in the prem winning teams games this year? Maybe little Kasper at the start of the season for City, but he was quite lucky. I suppose in order to be lucky, you have to be good.

Taylor was dreadful making good clearances? Something the other two didn't do all afternoon I guarantee he wouldn't have been f****** nutmegged on that goal, either. Granted, he'd have probably ran him over for a yellow, but we'd have not lost today. We didn't lose, mate Though it sure feels like one. Haha.... I edited it after reading my post again.
-
Taylor alongside Faye is probably our best CB pairing. Not going to argue that Roz looks nervous out there and should have done better, but he's not clueless. I dunno if it's just communication break down or what, but that 2nd goal should have been marked better.

He was okay, Milner was the best of an average midfield. Barton wasn't effective in the least and was tackled from behind on a couple occasions because he was too slow on the ball. At least two of them were on the break where he had a good amount of space to create something.
