I was one of them 'muppets'. Had a ticket for the lower tier, but sneaked into the upper tier with quite a few others. Ended up just finding a random place and stood in it making the row all squashed and compact Was the upper tier a better view or were you just unable to find your way? Better view, better atmosphere and the away allocation is far bigger in the upper tier. The away end in the lower tier must only hold about 500 or less. I ended up being stuck next to miserable a bunch of cockneys who weren't even football fans. They said: "we're not arsed about football, we just hate chelsea." Haha.. if you can't be arsed about something, why bother going?

I forgot that time Nicky Butt played full-back for Ireland... Oh wait!!! :winking: Duff will come good and especially against Chelski. I'd play this: given huntington taylor ramage duff dyer butt emre milner sib martins It doesn't matter how many times he's done it, or who for, he's still shite at it!! I remember Vinny Jones playing in goal for Wimbledon, doesn't mean I'd recruit the short-lived-hollywood-fad to fill in for Shay, if he had the sniffles or something. So, you're saying you'd rather play somebody who's not featured for his country at a position Duff has played before adequately on the INTERNATIONAL level? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make sense. Duff is not a shite player, he's proved himself in the past and will come good for our club. This is a big game for him against Chelski, he'll be his former self. I'm pulling for him as I've always rated him.

Hahahaha... no room for optimism round here!

Just watched his interview on the Beeb website, pretty funny stuff and he looks amused with himself after he made the comments. Brilliant!

Have you tried grilling it?? Simply Delish.

Bit harsh on the lad considering there's fuk all ever to aim for. Martins is usually in a shit position, and Sibby arrives four days later. If he ran to the line, then waited for those two to get in the box he'd have been tackled several times over. He should maybe start cutting inside and learning how to shoot, thought he was part striker when he joined? Aye, Sibi is slow - but he gets about the box and knows where to receive a ball. All of his goals have come from crosses. Agree about Martins, his positional sense inside the box is non-existant. But Milner's final ball is shit, simple as really. He's 20 years old, ffs. I doubt Nobby's crosses were world class at that age, either.

Whoa, you let 'em have it, eh mate?

It was a great performance in spite of that. Bollocks. If we are Darlington and had just lost that game 0-1 in the F.A Cup, it was a great performance. Premiership clubs that consider themselves top 6 material shouldn't describe any performance as "great" when so little chances were created and we lost the game. Great effort. Not a great performance. Top 6! What are you smoking? Did you see the f***ing team we put out? What? Did I say that I consider us top 6 material of did I say "Premiership clubs that consider themselves top 6 material"? Get over yourself, mate. It was a great effort by the weak team we fielded. End of.

They are all 3rd place teams in their groups??? Only 4 of the groups were done tonight, other 4 tomorrow, and we can't play Fener because they're in our group (we could play them in the round after next though provided we both win), so that's why there's only 3 listed Cheers, mate.

Unfortunate that Sibbers headed onto the bar and Zoggy carted off injured. Hopefully both will be back for the weekend. Can't be disapointed in the lads with an effort like that. Hard work goes a long way in the Prem and we proved that tonight. Take the confidence into the Watford game this weekend and we should come away with a win, granted we have enough players. Howay The Lads.

Both games were draws, who goes through?

Good thing he left Winterpeg, you'd have not liked it there. Bit on the desolate side. My younger brother's name is Ryan, so it's a little less odd. :winking:

Nice, I'm Andrew Douglas, cept me old man is from the TOON. Pleasured to meet another Douglas, mate.

At least the other scum took the piss out of him. Still, how bloody stupid do you have to be?

small world , how come a guy like you can go to a party and go straight on to our forum and make so many spelling mistakes and expect to be taken seriously or were you pissed when you posted it. Hahaha.... I was thinking the same thing, mate.

Even from a motivation standpoint. Shearer is a commanding pressence and would get the most out of the lads. I'd not want to face him after a sub par opening half and would make for damn sure that I step up my game.

Pardew Gone, Curbishley In (3pm press conference)
The Bonk replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I think it's more a case of players like Gabbidon, Ferdinand, Reo Coker, Benayoun, Mullins, Etherington, Zamora & Harewood being no more than one-season wonders. It's bad enough if it was just 2 or 3 under-performing, but I think they've been found out this season, and those players are not good enough to do anything about it. Out of the bunch, Benayoun and Reo Coker have played well enough. Reo Coker was the only one willing to do anything vs Bolton. Missing Dean Ashton is a huge blow, he was immense last year. -
He is the manager, plain and simple, support him! (note, I didn't want him in the first place, but he's here and I'll support him till he's gone)

I notice a nazza06 comment there, in the train video, who signed up here today. Idiot. actually when i first saw the video i saw it as jsut a bit of harmless banter between the newcastle and frankfurt fans, i didn't know anything about racism going on. Fair play, mate. I did mean idiot in an "eejit" type of sense, wasn't being serious. How could he not know there was any racism involved when his comment was singing the Kebab song? I don't see how that was a harmless bit of banter singling out one bloke because he was Turkish. Why wasn't there a song about a bratwurst shop?? The guy didn't look bothered atall and i saw it in the same light i do when people call me "haggis" or mention "skirts" to me (meaning kilts) because I'm from Scotland. I see the light hearted side of things like this and so without knowing about the attack on the Turkish bloke in the stadium I wasn't aware that the chanting was meant in a racist way. Hope you can understand where i'm coming from. I suppose, mate. It just looked like they were picking on the one bloke and nobody else.

Why on earth would he want to join them??? Dunno, he's in the danish casual invironment as well, not for the fighting, just the social thing. Hahaha.. is the environment that you provide as a friend not good enough? (Sorry mate)
