  1. We would have lost anyway tbh. We needed some changes in an attempt to get back into the game. It didn't work but that's no surprise because Bolton were well on top by that point.

    Edgar

I'm just pleased that we've got new defenders coming through. If Huntington and Edgar turn into two more Taylors... i'll be dead happy.

    Pavel....Why?

Roeder had no choice at the time, but if he hadn't of signed Pav in the first place - he wouldn't have had to play him. We could have loaned someone like Pompey, Villa, Everton, etc have done in the past when their goalkeeper situation has become critical.
  4. About as much as tit-for-tat screen-filling signatures. ;-)
  5. Why are we picking 3??? What does that achieve?

  7. thats not good news tbh.. The good news is that we haven't slipped.
  8. Krul isn't match fit - he got called back from having time off because of Given's injury, (remember that Krul hasn't played since he got injured.) Bet he was still fucked off mind. How? Clueless, tbh. Oh for fucks sake. Is there really any need for that? Honest to God. Sorry, if you can't indulge in a little bit of light, ironic humour than that is your problem. Jesus Christ. As much as i hate the childish phrase, 'take a chill pill' - seriously mate... do so. I bet he was a bit annoyed because he was recalled from his family and christmas celebrations to sit on a bench, watch a 38-year-old fail to perform, and watch his team lose. I think young Krul might just be a bit down. Fucking hell.
  9. I'm not really blaming Roeder for the starting line-up, i don't disagree with it, and i'm pleased in some ways that he took Dyer off. We were unlikely to win the game anyway, and Everton is the more important one. Save Nobby/Duff/Emre/Dyer etc for that one and blood some youngsters here today. Thought it was bizarre taking Milner off, though.
  10. Krul isn't match fit - he got called back from having time off because of Given's injury, (remember that Krul hasn't played since he got injured.) Bet he was still fucked off mind.
  11. Good news is... i don't think we move up or down. Just the bottom comes a bit closer to us. Could be wrong - but i think we stay 11th.
  12. Can anyone back this up? Just interested to see how he did...
  13. Aye, not too disheartened. Don't think we were ever going to win at Bolton, one of the hardest places to go nowadays, especially with the line-up we had today. How did Pav/Edgar do?
  14. Honestly can't believe i dropped Drogba.
  15. and what is that exactly? He's f***ing shit at long range shooting I like parker but he can't shoot for shit The one thing that used to frustrate me the most about Parker, tbh. His finishing and general shooting ability is shocking. I'm glad he's got a few goals, it certainly adds to (what looked like last season atleast) a decent all-round game. But you look at his four goals, three of them have been headers, and that doesn't surprise me. We missed someone who charged into the box and would score a goal when Bowyer departed, and Parker hasn't really filled the gap left in my opinion. Which is one of the key reasons why Roeder's Emre-sitback/Parker-goforward simply doesn't work. And another reason why Emre-Butt works better. Emre's shooting isn't great, and he seriously needs to improve his one-on-ones, but he's certainly more effective than Parker going forward.
  16. Now that would be a very good result for us...
  17. Two goals from Linvoy Primus?
  18. NUFC: Given, Srnicek, Krul, Solano, Babayaro, Taylor, Ramage, Huntington, Parker, Butt, Emre, Milner, Duff, Pattison, Troisi, Gate, Edgar, Martins, Dyer, Sibierski, Luque, Rossi, Carroll. Krul Solano --- Taylor --- Ramage --- Huntington Milner --- Parker --- Butt --- Emre Dyer --- Martins Subs: Srnicek, Edgar, Duff, Rossi, Sibierski Krul if Given is definitely unfit, which i desperately hope he isn't against an improving Bolton attack. Defense picks itself as far as i am concerned. If Bramble and Moore even have a sniff at sneaking back into the first team defense, Roeder want's a bullet. Huntington is progressing well at left-back, looking forward to seeing more of him. Some tough choices in midfield. It's hard to leave Parker out after such an impressive performance against Tottenham, although my first choice central-midfield pair is still Emre-Butt. I'm going to use the excuse that Duff isn't fit enough to start yet, so i'll keep the midfield that spanked Spurs. Emre needs to learn how to help out Hunty, though. It could be one of Anelka/Davies/Diouf up against Huntington, so we need to rely on a big performance from Emre today down the left, no disrespect to Huntington. Upfront, Dyer and Martins - dynamic duo. When they play together, they play off each other. They score goals.
