Apropos of nothing I thought he came across like an unbelievably canny lad in that interview. If £70m includes £10m for how sound he is then I can understand that.
  2. Half a season to a season.
  3. Definitely Goodison cos we're usually fucking shite there, and probably Molineux.
  4. How's he end up talking to complete randomers like that?
  5. By my estimation this was the third possible toughest draw we could've got, out of 26 possible ties. So standard.
  6. It is. Those teams need the help you see.
  7. Don't think that's ever been the case? Euro teams avoid each other in the next round.
  8. Ffs. How many times have we had that draw, man?

Less 'morning has broken', more: morning has soaken, since every morning I have soaken or (soaked) my bed in transfer window bedwettery piss.

If you believe we've abandoned chasing our perfect RW in favour of chasing our perfect CB, I hope we flip-reverse it, should Guehi not sign. Take our chances with the backline and go and get the Raphinha.

In the old days this is the part when the player would usually submit a transfer request, isn't it? Guessing their contract facilitates them being penalised if that happens these days, does it? I think it'll be a bit bruising at this point if we don't get him because clearly he's been identified as the future of our backline. Clearly we're happy to pay more than a competitive price to secure that and I totally support the approach. It'll be a pity if it doesn't work out.
  12. Oh, could be? What's that about?
  13. I'd be surprised but agree that we'd be fine - as in, I believe we already have the squad to be competitive in the top 6/7/8 again. You need to freshen up to kick on though. The CB situation is very precarious; though the concern is more about the medium-to-long than immediate. Frankly any window where we've kept Bruno, Isak and Gordon is a result. And before KI drops the emotionally damaged fanbase meme again - almost every club on earth is susceptible to losing their best players.

Palace are well within their rights to bleed anyone for every penny they can for one of their prized assets. If they want to deny themselves an incredible financial package in favour of keeping their player, that's entirely their prerogative. Seem incredibly tough to deal with and I get the vibe that they don't particularly want to deal with us specifically after the Freedman stuff.
  15. Yeah, shite. Back to the browser version for me.
  16. Aye. Important to remember that a player can't possibly perform to the best of their ability if a folded collar goes around the back of the neck.
  17. Feeling pretty tempted by this one. Think I'll try one on next time I'm up because for all it looks nice I cba spending £80 on something I won't wear due to the hoops accentuating my protruding gut. I like that you'd actually be wearing what the players wear, unlike the home and third kits.
  18. Maybe aye, but then when would we wear the actual shorts?
  19. Cannot understand why it's blue shorts as opposed to white given we'll need it at Fulham and Spurs, both of whom have very dark shorts too. No sign of alternates on the club shop either.
  20. what a shout... hadn't dawned on me at all.
  21. Could be, mate. I was after a bite or two is all. Bruno's going neewhere and will look fantastic in this kit at Craven Cottage and nowhere else.
