They're spinning us every single time when the ball in the middle of the pitch.

Gonna take some finding our feet here I think

Brilliant pace from AG10

Schar and Krafth at CB

Krafth on TNT. Nee one knows.

Hey Jude for the WF Geordies theme all the way up to the PL music.

A clean sheet feels like a miracle at the best of times but the line-up is a particular mess today. Huge pressure on the front three, but it is a very good front three. 3-2 one way or the other, I reckon.

Achilles injury.
-
Yes, injured. Didn't train all week.

Incredible Brent vibes from JT in the Joelinton vid. Good to put some faces to the enemies in the medical room.

Identifying that he's talking shite isn't taking it personally, is it?

The one containing Bruno and Isak.

Doing well for one of the EFL's form teams according to this: https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=290648.0

Aye that's what I'm thinking.

If we were to use an existing ground, wouldn't the more obvious choice be to do something with Gateshead? Fuck playing at the SoL, man.
-
As things stand we're looking at Villa or Roma for that fifth-placed qualifier, aren't we? Besides, theoretically weaker sides/leagues gaining the advantage (over those who barely need the help) is a good thing.
-
Good God man. I feel like it could be injury time on the last day with 6th to play for I'll read "season's over" cos we've conceded a throw.

Just seen that Liverpool score. Holy shitballs, get in. Couldn't give a fuck about the coefficient; ridiculous that five English teams should go into that competition anyway.
-
Washing Plzen-Fiorentina in the Conference League quarters. If Fiorentina are as good as Villa's competition is likely to be, it should be a fuss-free passage to the podium. Olympiacos looking like their semi-final opponents after racing into a lead against Fenerbahce. Hopefully they're tough enough an opponent cos it'll be so dull just watching the PL win the competition every year.

No and definitely not.

Yeah but knobs and other words for knobs are funny as fuck.

York have dropped tickets to a tenner this weekend (and free for U14s), down from the usual £21 - looks like they're heading for a sellout of ~8500. Wish they'd do it more than once a season; it's got to be a worthwhile investment.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2024/apr/11/premier-league-to-use-semi-automated-offside-speed-up-var-calls Naturally I'm not pleased about the news because it doesn't eradicate the negative side-effect of checking offsides. My preference would be to bin its use on offsides altogether. However, once it's in use, it'll really shine a light on the laughable imprecision and cumbersome nature of the current system. It's a total farce that offsides have ever fallen under the umbrella of VAR without the proper technology.

I don't see how examples of poor refereeing at Championship level provides justification for VAR in the Premier League.
