Correct. Who can name the other starters?
-
Who can name the five starters today who also featured in the Cambridge upset?

Joelinton having to go again, man. Bloke is a machine. There should be far too much quality in that side to slip up but we need to make sure we're slick going forward.

Of course. The Man City story has never once appealed to me and teams being prevented from doing what they did is pretty much fine with me. ... But the fact that NUFC is restricted from injecting hundreds of billions of Saudi wealth into buying the Premier League isn't the issue with PSR. The issue is that each competitor has unique restrictions (or lack of) placed upon them.

Looking forward to this but have pretty low expectations. I think we'll win but it'll be fairly ugly, much like that Wimbledon game. Given what Howe said about identifying this weekend as an opportunity to rotate, hopefully the team he intends to put out has been working on patterns in training.

I think he probably hit that height once... Pardew was somewhat to blame as he tried to turn a limited CDM into a playmaker. More a random thought but does anyone know how Palace fans view Cabaye? He actually played for them a fair bit more than us.
-
Think the Tiote shouts are a bit wild tbh. Was very fond of him but I'm not sure he pulled up any trees for us after his first season.
-
Cos he was fucking mint.
-
Easy in the top 3 CMs in my lifetime, pending Tonali. Cabaye and Tiote both overrated imo.

I can only go from about '98 onwards: Given Trippier Schär Woodgate Enrique Bruno Speed Dyer Ben Arfa Shearer Isak

Kinda no beef really. It's top shithousery. Arsenal fans should own it.

Absolutely want Spurs in the final should we get there. They're the worst team of the two and there'd be more of an edge to it. I would feel very much alive ahead and during that game. From the neutral point of view it's also the more interesting fixture for a cup final. If Klopp was still there the opportunity to vanquish those demons in dramatic style would be irresistible. But he's not, so Spurs please.

Of course, people can do whatever they like, especially if they can afford to. But we can't expect the quality (ultimately the value) of these things to improve at all as long as people keep stumping up. I obviously appreciate the uptick in our commercial performance but at the same time I lament the piss-take prices, particularly given the shoddy quality in Adidas' case. It's a contradiction tbh.
-
What's this in response to? It's not really a counter argument to any gripes about the scandalous price of this and other shirts. I kinda wish people would take a stand on it tbh.

Regardless of the specific incident and decision, that particular audio gives a pretty good insight into the flawed nature of it all. "If it's wrong I'll change it!" I.e. the refs feel safeguarded by the existence of VAR and the means for their decisions to be corrected. Thus influencing their decision-making process, potentially resulting in hasty ones being made. Meanwhile the directive is to only change decisions if they're howlers. It's totally flawed, always has been.

£108. Literally might as well just get a real one from Vinted. Most of them are pretty much as good as new anyway because of the quality.

The performances against West Ham, Palace and Brentford justifiably had people questioning the direction under him. Prior to then, he had more than enough credit in the bank to avoid severe criticism until it looked like he'd lost the squad; and tbh, I thought there was signs of that in that West Ham second half. But since that poxy run he's found solutions to problems and collectively (between him and the team) they've absolutely gorged on the opportunities presented by a kinder fixture list and gained some incredible momentum. He's put his faith in certain players and made a mockery of any notion that the team were no longer responding to his leadership. Right now things are as positive as they've been during his whole time here but the pressure, ironically, is back on with these theoretically favourable games ahead. If we drop points against, say, Wolves and Bournemouth (which could happen and wouldn't be criminal), it's beyond crucial that the fans and the usual suspects in the press room don't lose their collective shit. Because he's got this.
