Bloody hell! Didn't realise you were heading straight back. Great that you came, mate.

Handsome and class at football. What a piece of shit.

Good for him. Dunno who he was celebrating at mind.

I enjoyed the atmosphere yesterday; it was never gonna be bouncing given the fixture and it being job done at half-time, but I thought there was a pretty consistent backing and the Tonali chants felt plenty vociferous from where I was. Didn't hear the Palace fans but for a short round of "shhh" at around 80 minutes when the game was dead and buried. I wonder how many hundred missed the two goals at the end of the first half. Fucking hell, man. Absolutely dozens of people piling out around me from the 38th minute onwards. Do they really just not give that much of a fuck, like? Is that what it comes down to? I guess we knew this from the Ashley days.

He's basically Blaine from Predator.

I'm sure people will be turning up from 9am onwards, if not before. You're a White, so first up, so ideally be there by 09:20 at the absolute latest, as (with six games) it's really important we get started on time.

It's a truly glorious resource and time capsule but it's just a very, very antiquated website.

Sandro Tonali - Spurs have £80m bid rejected by NUFC (SSN)
Yorkie replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Why is it? What's he actually done that's so despicably wrong? If it's proven that he's actually unlawfully intervened in the natural course of sporting competition then yes, of course, that would be deplorable; you could argue that anyone doing that should be banned for life, let alone a year, two years, three years. I presume that the law exists to prevent precisely that type of maleficence... but I don't see how chucking Milan on his acca, as you or I would, is jeopardising the sport's integrity. Match fixing is one thing, gambling on your own team's result is another. I'm not saying he shouldn't get a ban, just that the level of punishment is incredibly severe given the 'crime'. Particularly with the addition of not being allowed to train. -

I dare say they'll be wary of it in future but how are they supposed to uncover this when it was being very deliberately concealed by everyone in the process? You can investigate and feel comfortable about a player's character but it's asking a lot to dig out skeletons from the closet. -

Well if he's banned for three years aye, but most reports suggests something a lot more reduced than that. I'm doing a cracking job of not commenting on the speculation like I said I wouldn't. -

Don't see how it's £55m down the drain if he's banned for a year. It's hardly the end of his career. -

The temptation to comment and make conclusions based on the speculation is immense but I just don't think we can until we know precisely what the fuck has happened. (I know I already have so am not trying to take the moral high ground) Whatever happens, he's got a five year contract with us, he's a very talented player and he's got an exceptional coaching staff and dressing room to support him. Still every chance the story of Sandro Tonali at Newcastle turns out to be a good one. -
Well that's mad because he was arguably our player of the tournament during the Euros. I wouldn't be against seeing someone else in there (not Henderson), I just don't think it's the crime of the century selecting him, given the other options.
-
On the Phillips thing; the viable alternatives (unless im missing someone) are Henderson, Ward-Prowse and Gallagher; after that you're looking at the likes of Longstaff and Curtis Jones. The reality is, imo, that we're not particularly blessed in that position after Rice, who's excellent. All the options are much of a muchness; it might as well be Philips seeing as he's performed so well there for England historically. You could count Bellingham as an option, enabling the likes of Eze, Maddison and Mount to come in at number 10 - but he's clearly so blessed that we need to build the team around him in a place where he's most influential, which is precisely there.
-
Which are the 'lunatic' decisions?
-
You a regular goer? What's your theory for why it's like it is?
-
Everyone expects a routine win at Wembley and that's exactly what everyone gets. Does nowt for building an atmosphere.
-
Great stuff from everyone all round, emphatic and comfortable in the end.
-
He's absolutely exceptional, love him.
