You can't make a statement, that Stoke were Clearly the better side before the sendings off, based on just watching highlights. I watched the whole game and they were not, it was a nothing game which they were edging with a great goal, outside of that they created nothing of any worth, as did we, just a few long shots from either team. Possession was even and territory probably belonged to us on a whole for that period. There was quite enough of the first half shown to come to the conclusion I did...they even passed the ball better than we did for large parts of the first half.....everyone has their own view of things but in the main, I stick by what I said in this case. I really don't get all this soul searching...There will be games we lose although seemingly the better side.

I couldn't give a feck if people got sent off for bad haircuts...Who cares? Winning games is what it's about.

Nothing to be worried about. Crazy season, all that matters is standing in May. The only team who is 100% out of it, and Parky can claim to have beaten 10-0 already this season are Spurs. They will finish the league with less than 60 points. I was strongly considering giving you a goal for that first half display of pace and menace.

Stoke today were ragtag and indisciplined and let a game that they had some measure of control of get away from them through sheer idiocy. I'll take every decision we get all day long, absolutely no qualms about that. The sending off changed the game but I still think we had another gear and would have won that game in the second half against 11 men.

They've spent a fair amount of cash and there would be serious questions about Rodgers if they weren't in the top 4. It's been a bit of a freak season in so much as some of the other title contenders have had bad patches/loss of form/ confidence...However this won't continue..Chelsea and Man C definitely have another gear to come and if Arsenal get a tier one striker they will be serious title contenders. I see Liverpool finishing fourth at best which is probably what their start of season target was. The team I'm genuinely excited about however is Everton and how far they can go on little money and a small squad...The defence is rock and if they can add a tiny bit of quality it could get really interesting.

Prior to Dalglish/Hodgson farce, we were finishing in top 3/4 almost 80% of the time that decade in the league, and often went deep in European competitions. Yeah I was just about to add that. Would like to see Delofeu get starts he's a massive talent and actually looks far more up to speed (albeit in short bursts) than say Lamela. Liv have another rough diamond up their sleeve in this Jordan Ibe...Heard a lot of good reports.
