This. No chance he'll walk. He needs pushing all the way...preferrably off the top of the tyne bridge. His ego is too big to man up and admit he just isn't good enough. He'd never get a job like this ever again.

He's a coward. He'll put it off for as long as possible. He'll come out with the 'we'll have to stand up and be counted. Disappointed but it's been a long season etc. It's my job to pick this bunch of players up. We'll put on a peformance in the last 6,5,4,3 games of the season for the fans who have been brilliant and understand the job we're doing here is a work in progress' etc..

Same here. Though I lack the football knowledge most of you have I can't think of anyone to come in and manage in the interim. John Carver might be one but he was an unmitigated disaster coaching Toronto FC and I don't think he could do any good for us. Absolutely no point in sacking him now, we wouldn't get anyone in. We're reduced to hoping Wigan and/or Villa continue to drop points. I don't care about getting anyone in right away. That can come in the summer. Right now we're not going to get another point this season under Pardew which puts us in serious threat of relegation. I cast my mind back to the change between Souness and Roeder's first game in charge...was like night and day.
