blueyes.gif Smith has had a great game so far, only topped by Faye. We're not out of this, by any stretch of the imagination, but we need to track them down a lot quicker and we also need to find space when we got the ball.

Need to get Geremi on for Barton, he's been terrible! In general, we look nervous as soon as we get the ball and just hoof it forwards.

From the players that have been selected, that's what I hope for. If it was up to me though, I'd have Barton in the middle and Geremi out right instead of Smith.

What makes you think that they will have a that either? We'll beat them. Because their crowd will give it to them. True it only happens once every other year (promotion, relegation etc) but they do get rather excited when they play us at home. I'm quite fine with Smith as our 4th choice striker. Is £6m too much for a 4th choice striker? Yes, it is, however, we got backup for two other positions as well, meaning that it's not too bad a price. There have been times this season I've really enjoyed watching Smith play. Granted, he is no one who'll produce any brilliance, but I like his attitude and his link up play can be quite good

Don't have to work til later that day, so I'll watch it at home

As most others, I rate him very highly as a player, but I too got doubts whether he'd adapt to English football (and of course the fact that I don't think he'd come)
