Yes we definitely are, but not sure signing West Ham's third choice right back proves that mind

Football is way too unpredictable to, as a fan, be confident with a 1-0 lead going into any game. As has been said, a daft red card and all of the sudden it's a completely different game. Plus we haven't really been firing on all cylinders since the WC break. Of course I think we'll go through, but not to that extent.

Aye this. Fuck their ridiculous wage bill and spending, don't want to fund them by buying their cast offs.

Come on other clubs, don't give Chelsea daft money for their reserve players so they can continue this ridiculous spending spree. Gallagher had a good first six months of his loan spell at Palace last season, absolutely no need to spend 40m on him now. He'll be available for much less than that in the summer when he can't even get on the bench any more.

You are definitely "Too good to go down" (tm), with or without Maddison IMO. Understandable that it's nervous times for you, but I think you'll be closer to tenth than 18th at the end of the season. -
Gutted to see him leave tbh, but it's not often you get a chance to sell to a PL club, and Brighton are obviously incredible at nursing talents so quite happy about his destination. Like I said the other week, cracking young player. Not sure if he's suited to the PL at this moment of his career though, but it'll be interesting to see how he does.

Been absolutely incredible for them in the role he's played though. One of few that was more or less a guaranteed starter for City up until very recently. Something must've happened between Pep and him.

His name is too close to Ashley, get rid.

It'll be the Boodison by the time we get there in April or whenever it is

But Schär had been arguably the best CB in the league this season, hell be incredibly hard to replace. The "you don't buy players to sit on the bench" lot would then be happy to have Lascelles as his back up, but I'd much prefer to sign a £15m CB backup.
