Swedish commentator when we scored our first: "There is no place in England like St James' Park when the home-team scores. The atmosphere here is just incredible" Something like that anyway.

Agree. Though I thought Huntington looked good before their goal, after that he was terrible though.

what has fergie said?

Solano for me. Took out the most in-form player in the world very well and seemed calm throughout the game. I've been cautious of praising Solano too much at RB, because most games that I've seen it's been against a poorer opposition that didn't put him under too much pressure. He was today, and he coped with it superbly.

Milner did a good job defensively, would've thought it would've been better to have him on the right to kick the shit out of Ronaldo, but it worked out well. Apart from his goal, which ofcourse, was absolute class, he gave the ball away too often, just like the rest of our players. Great fighting spirit and a lot of credit to Roeder who got the tactics SPOT ON.

Is there a more wonderful sight than seeing your 19-year old being so fucking happy when he scores?
-
It's Fulham's keeper Niemi! Apparently he came out to head it, and while he was up there collided with Bocanegra, and then landed on his head That's terrible!
-
Come on Fulham! Have them and Reading on a roughly £25 bet.
-
Any official team news yet?
-
I'm happy if we score.
-
Seconded.
-
We must've been pretty shite if Milner was man of the match
-
Didn't get a single vote Hardly unexpected, though had I defended Carr a bit more, perhaps I could've ended up with worst poster or something

Bale to Chelsea and Bridge to us. Thank you
-
basically what I said in the match thread.

How long is Duff out for? We need him, so we can play Emre in the middle again. If not Duff, then why not Alan "Next Duff" O'Brien?
-
depressed.

Reading keeper, the scary looking bald one. cheers

nufc 4 life, that was the one i wanted to quote, but it didn't so well didn't realise that all the shirts was in one picture. The design is the same as for the team that I support in Sweden. http://www.mmsports.com/soccer-jersey/aik-home-jersey-2006-07.jpg

Given, cech, van der sar. Who is Marcus Hahnemann?
-
Happy birthday, don't party too hard!
-
Can it go wrong? put some black and white stripes there and make a decent design for numbers and we're there. And I don't want the names on the shirts, btw. Just the numbers

Emre is one of our best players this season and shouldn't even be close to not playing.

From the evidence I've seen, he'll fart about in MU reserves, get the odd ten minutes and be peddled withing three years. The next David Bellion tbh. Legend, never thought I'd see the day Sunderland managed to screw Man Utd out of £3M for a shit player, whose only asset was he had pace. Although he did score the winner in one of our 4 wins in our 19 points season, so fair play to the lad. On Rossi, I was impressed with him when we played Man Utd at the SoL last season and he scored (deflected effort though). Though he looked a tricky little player with an intelligent football mind, and that was just from about 15 minutes. Man Utd seem to think he's one for the future as well, but at 19 Man Utd forked £30M (?) for Wayne Rooney! I thought the lad would have been given more time during his loan spell as Ameobi has been injured virtually all season hasn't he? as has Owen. And with only Sibierski and Martins ahead of him I would have though rotation would have been a good option to keep them all fit. But Glenn knows best. Totally off topic - but that sentence has cheered me up no end. F***ing magic. Here to help :winking: Any more memories you care to share with us concerning your 15 point season? Well over an aggregate score from both first halves against Newcastle, Sunderland won 3-2 I have to have something to amuse myself with. We beat Middlesbrough 2-0, and while getting relegated held Man Utd to a 0-0 draw at Old Trafford (similar to the 0-0 against Liverpool in the 19 point season where Liverpool had around 27 shots compared to our one (a long punt forward from Macho that reached the keeper!)) We beat Fulham in our final home game of the season. Our only home win of the season apart from the 1-0 aet and 3-0 demolitions of Cheltenham and Northwich Victoria respectively. Although we did go out of the FA Cup to League 1 Brentford 2-1 away from home in the 4th Rd. We went out of the league cup 3-0 to Arsenal infront of a sell out crowd due to cheap tickets. We were unbeaten against WBA in our two meetings over the season, 1-1 and 1-0. A class season tbh. Oh and Danny Collins scored more goals than Michael Owen in the second half of last season (1 away to Aston Villa). actually, laughing with you and not at you...well a bit at you, tbh
