It's not just his crossing though. I think Milner is too stupid to be a footballer. he often beats his man, but instead of advancing into the box, he turns again and start running towards the corner-flag and puts in a crap ball or loses it before.

I can live with him playing badly if he scores 2 goals and wins us the game. As I'm sure you can. Decent teams and players can play badly and still score and win. Of course. I wasn't criticizing his performance, it is really impressive that he scored two goals when he had, IMHO, an off-day.

Martins was crap apart from his goals today. But, he still was involved a lot, which is something Owen usually isn't. 5 goals in 4 games, impressive!

Crap formation from Roeder almost cost us two points today. Neither Emre nor Dyer knew where they were supposed to play. Taylor and Butt were great. Milner had a great cross, but gave away the ball like 95% of the time he had it. Ramage should try something else than passing back to Given. Martins was crap except for two great goals, so a good game overall by him. Sibbers had his worst game for us so far.

Delighted to see Emre and Dyer in the starting XI. Should win this. Howay the lads!

Disgraceful tbh. More amusing than anything else IMO. Could just be resting him, mind? We do have 2 more important games following this one (within 7 days.) I could even support Roeder playing 11 youth players on Wednesday in order to keep us fresh for the weekend... he could send out 11 academy lads and instruct them to injure Chelsea's players. Might give us a chance in the Carling Cup? Imagine that hammering! But I wouldn't mind it either, tbh
