I think I saw some of worst defending ever tonight by Celta btw. in the second half when Milner broke in at the corner of the penalty box and two or three Celta players slid in to take the ball. Resulted in a corner. Milner didn't do anything, still he got free of the three of them, looked ridiculus

I don't think Martins has shown that he's good enough for top 4 yet (though I think if given the chance in any of them, he would've taken it) but he has shown that he is our best available option and there is no point of anyone getting on his back.

aye, i hear emre and parker have auditiones for land of the giants. dyer and butt are thinking of giving it a shot as well. we must be one of the smallest teams in the league. we are desperate for some height meant CDs.

Don't think we NEED tall players. If we could get round to play a good passing football, then we won't really need them. Perhaps for defending, but we should have cover as our CMs aren't small.

We will play Solano/Milner Parker Emre Duff/Zoggy Dyer Martins Got nothing against this, Dyer and Martins as strikers gives us lightening pace and they work well together, as we saw on Saturday.

I'll admit to a kneejerk reaction and say Dyer I've always liked him and after his performance yesterday and his hard work, he deserves my vote. Other than him, I would go for Oba, Owen, Parker and Given.

Yet Parker is supposed to be the box to box midfielder, he offers us very little in attacking play and is someone I wouldn't be sorry to see the back of, if Man Utd's bid for Hargreaves falls through then I hope they come in for him. Roeder made a big mistake in making him captain. i agree, because we have so many central midfielder that we really don't need Parker. While we're at it, sell Emre to Bayern and we can play with just Butt there! Great plan! As for post match thoughts, I want to see more of Martins and Dyer upfront.
