I'm speaking purely in terms of talent, here. Sorry, I was responding to Nobody and forgot to quote. I agree though, I'm finding it difficult to think of anyone worse who played regularly. There are players like Amdy Faye, Mike Hooper, Matty Pattison, Stephen Carr, Boumsong and Nicky Butt who all ran him fairly close mind, if for shorter amounts of time. Give Colback a couple of years and the hate will be at the same level probably, not that I think he has a chance of that providing Rafa's here. Owen at least scored some goals for us. Aye, he cost more and was a captain that couldn't give less of a fuck about us, still hate Smith's faux hard worker bull shit more though.

We've obviously seen our fair share of shit players the last few years, but I still think that Smith is my most hated NUFC player ever. Just an absolute fraud, wasn't good at anything except lunging in recklessly and pretending to be a hard worker because of it.

Cliche but he really is Lampard esque with his runs. His movement is fantastic. His stats must surely be a lot better than the likes of Scholes, Gerrard and Lampard after their first 52 matches! Potential is frightening! Good job we didn't ruin him! Took Gerrard 169 games to hit 20 goals, Lampard 140, Beckham 90 and Scholes 74. Would assume Alli has more starts and minutes in his, mind.

I love Rafa but yeah, I definitely would. Love Howe's approach to the game, his teams always far exceed the sum of their parts. In other words he's done very well at Bournemouth. Proved absolutely fuck all in comparison with Rafa. He got a team on the brink of Relegation to the National League, to an established Premier League club, i'd say he's proved a fair bit, and i'd argue that its one of the biggest achievements in modern football history, not that i'd replace Rafa ofcourse, but given Howe's style, I could see why someone would want to. It's incredibly impressive, but he's still not achieved anything in the top flight to even begin comparing him to someone like Rafa. Will be very interesting to see what he does next and who will take a punt on him
