Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League
Nobody replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
If I was a betting man I would have a bit of that....still very likely at this point because we are not convincing despite yesterday's scoreline. Difficult games coming up and a couple of decent signings would make it less likely... Absolute rubbish Doesn't matter if you're "a betting man" or not, at those odds and it being "very likely", you put a bet on, simple as that. -
We'll them to fuck off
-
Wouldn't be against Knockaert and Forestieri getting each others sent off here
-
You sit there pre and post game, you've got seats in the stands during the actual game.
-
Basically none.

Derby is on in a couple of weeks.

Just finished watching the first half. There's about a 15 minute period after our first goal that's about as dull as any game of football I've ever seen. We're basically just passing it around our back four and to Shelvey and Tiote and back again. Birmingham aren't doing much to get possession back either, just standing there and letting us roll the ball around, it's like a pre season training session

Tough games for Brighton and Reading, good chance to pull away a bit.

Also, we signed Ritchie to replace him with that money, so ignore me
-
Would we have turned down £13m for him in the summer had he not had a release clause? If so, we should be prepared to pay that for him now.
-
I would watch the shit out of our games if they were put on the website like
-
Yeah it'd be Routledge all over again, but better. We'd have huge threat on both wings and teams wouldn't be able to contain us, especially at home. Who would you put on the left?
-
"When a get fateeged a do quite sloppy passes" Self-assessment I can get on board with. Should possibly have given him a chance when Shelvey was out, as he says that's his best position, picking the ball up from deep and playing from there. Rafa probably doesn't trust a youngster to fill in that role yet though, but wouldn't mind seeing him start there against Oxford to protect Shelvey.

Bet Ando didn't give Ayoze any credit for that goal

Welcome back lad

http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/newcastle-3-1-birmingham-ritchie-9647510 Obviously didn't see the game, but from the sounds of things, Tiote was comfortably our worst player, but nah, he gets the same score as pretty much everyone else

We did that instead of sacking McClaren to give the new manager two weeks to prepare for the next league game

I just flicked it on. The difference in energy and interest between the two sets of commentary. They actually describe what's happening, too, which is novel. This is exactly what I was on about the other day. Such a difference in perception of our football (note: not just the result) based on who you're having describe it to you. Was with BBC until the first goal, then I sacked it off for the talksport one, absolutely night and day in how the game sounded
-
Aye, sounded like he put some good tackles in. Was close to give away a penalty though apparently.

GET THE FUCK IN!!!!

Liverpool miss a penalty.
