Gareth mate, come on. Any need to start Henderson in both these games? Happy to see Tripps get a break, mind.

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)

Feelclike Szoboszlai is this years Paqueta, see his name mentioned on here all the time when it feels like we've barely been linked. -
Fucking hell, what a waste of time So who gets the Nations League qualifying spots at the Euros?
-
Does that mean Spain has now qualified for the Euros?

Hasn't that loophole already been discussed and closed? I’ve no idea really, but feel like people have mentioned Watford and Udinese already in regards to that

Right on cue

Also only applies to new sponsors

Surely pretty much anyone out of work would fancy the chance to manage fucking Messi

That's almost Michael Owen levels of shit answers

What a weird season West Ham has had At one point, they looked in real trouble of getting relegated, and I bet a lot of their fans at some point would have said they would have liked to sack off the conference league to focus on the league. Now they ended up winning the whole thing, their first trophy in ages. Kind of feel like they deserve it for sticking with Moyes, becoming less of a fan of teams just sacking their managers hoping for a quick fix.

Any word on what Messi will be on in Miami compared to the Saudi offer or what Barcelona would have been able to offer him?

Former AIK 'legend' Robert Taylor, also former AIK legend Nicolas Stefanelli, for whom it must be an absolute dream come true to see Messi sign for them

Wonder this means for our transfer kitty this summer. Wouldn't be happy if our Champions League money ends up going to golfers
-
Looks like a really good player, reckon Howe could work wonders with him.

Has to be one of the worst ever transfers?

Of course a striker improves you, otherwise any transfer is redundant, but it's also not as simple as saying Kane replaces Weghorst, therefor 30 more goals next season and 15 points. For a start, Weghorst has barely played Rashford won't score as many goals next season, as he'll be expected to put more balls into Kane rather than go for goal himself, and his position will be different from where he has played this season. Better strikers = Moar goals is proper PFM thinking
-
Pretty much. Like I said, football isn't as simple as "we're not scoring goals, we need a better striker".
-
Jesus played 26 games and scored 11 goals in the PL his last season for City, hardly amazing numbers.
-
Football doesn't really work like that though. City added the best striker in the world and ended up on fewer points this season than last. Of course Kane improves you a lot, but to just claim that he adds x amounts of points is ridiculous, especially as many as 15. Wouldn't count on him being fit for 38 games like he was this year as well.

Works well in Sweden IMO, but obviously it's a much poorer league than Bundesliga. Championship type play offs wouldn't have anywhere near the interest in Sweden as they do in England IMO, so the play off game works well here.
