I could actually see this being true

Liverpool have been terrible in both games I've seen them so far (Spurs and Villa). Two man team if there ever was one, and Gerrard really isn't in form, leaving Torres as their only attacking option. Mind, Johnson has been playing really well from what I've seen.

What kind of team are the mackems expected to put on the field tonight? If they field a reserve team, I could see there being a Cupset (oh yes, I just used that word ) but if they field their strongest XI, I can't see anything but a win for the scum.

Sadly enough, I quite agree with this. Kinnear returning would be a far bigger let down than Ashley staying for me. That's pretty short sighted to be honest. The problems come from the very top. It is short sighted indeed. Knee jerking here, perhaps, but I do think that we'll get promoted and that will leave us in a much better state for any potential buyer. I just don't think I could stand an entire season listening to Kinnears bull shit. At least Ashley is quiet while being an inept cretin.

Behind Barton he's easily our best passer of the ball. Reckon Guthrie is better, but he's a good third. He's a bit sloppy with his passing sometimes, a bit too often he wastes possession with a five yard pass, but even that is becoming less and less frequent. For a left back, he's got sublime vision of the game, he's terrific at reading runs, both offensive and defensive.

Didn't think you were that good today, you were lucky to win imo. Agree, was a pretty scrappy game, and Spurs only won because of two shocking pieces of defending. Still, a win is a win and to have a perfect record, including beating Liverpool, is impressive.

Our squad is not big enough for us to try and compete in this as well as going for promotion. We need to prioritise the league, promotion is much more important than reaching the final in this. On that note, why would you think that we can reach the final? Our team is no where near as good as the teams in the Premier League, and we're playing a lot more league games which will certainly cause fatigue should we play the same team in this cup as in the league.
