I much prefer that boring entity to win it over Arsenal though. When City wins the league, no one cares. If Arsenal were to do it, all their dickhead fans would be all over the place (especially over here in Sweden where they are one of the most supported clubs in the PL).

Understand why Staveley wanted him in, as he's got that ridiculous winning mentality that Rafa had as well. Never satisfied, not even when 5-0 up after 20 minutes. It's always about the next 10 minutes, we always need to stay alert and be at our best. Remember how Rafa used to call players over just after we scored a goal? I don't even know I'm in that age bracket where I've seen the likes of Speed and Lee, but nowhere near enough to really compare them to how much I've seen of Bruno. Since I've been old enough to bother analysing football, it's Bruno by a mile like. Probably used to be Cabaye, but he's legit absolutely miles behind Bruno.

Sure, it most likely was, but the Schär assist for Joelinton is absolutely sublime as well, as was his assist against West Ham. Willocks today is sexier due to the outside of the boot, but both the Schär ones take out so many players from a completely unexpected position and executed by a CB as well. I just think there's an argument to be made for Schärs incredible assists

And that's with him playing at like 50% to not injure himself more. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the best midfielder I've seen for us, he is already pretty fucking close like.

As incredible as that assist was, it could arguably be the second best assist of the game and third best of the season

As highly as I've always thought of him, even I'm surprised at just how good his finishing has been since he got here. His all round play has always been his main Strength, while still being a very good striker as well obviously, but his record here so far is ridiculous. A goal every 97.2 minutes, and that is when adjusting to a new league and coming back from a very serious injury.
