Have to say that was one of most negative performances from us in a long time. I would have to say Pardew must take the blame for most of this, with these piss poor tactics he's employing.Very few of our players deserved any credit.
-
Wenger must be fuming, haha!
-
So would I, he's an excellent Manager.
-
good game between Arsenal and Fulham, have to say Martin Jol has Fulham playing some nice football.
-
So how is he going at Marseilles? don't follow French football much.

Tiote can't play he's still got one game to go hasn't he? -
That was a frustrating second half, started off well but the last 15 mins we seem to settle for a draw. Woeful to watch.
-
Agree with that, good summary there.
-
Have to say that second goal from Brugge should have been an easy save by Krul. Looks a bit nervous he does.
-
He should be playing right back more often if puts goals away like that.
-
What a strike from Anita, loved it and nice link up play between the Ameobis.

Club Brugge vs Newcastle United - 08/11/12 @ 6pm GMT (Live on ESPN)

Really want to know what the locals think Basically they were saying that the supporters were nice, drinking a lot and were well behaved. 3 main attributes of any good football fan. They also said that the Police were happy, as there were no problems with the supporters. Not one incident so far. Good stuff. Inevitably folk will get absolutely hammered but as long as there's no damage or fighting that's a positive. edit: especially if they are drinking leffe a few pints of that would ruin me Yeah I know leffe is a good drop as is Kwark one of my favourites. -

More like Flemish. I was gutted when I went to Belgium and expected to use all my French... turned out Antwerp is Flemish as well. No speaking French in those areas, you'll get a hostile reception. -

Dortmund - Madrid was excellent to watch.

Dortmund, Madrid game unbelievable. Fantastic first half end to end football at it's best.
-
Why was Cabaye taken off? thought he was having a good game.
-
A job well done really, considering that we were down to ten men. Good game that was, well done from the guys especially when Collicini went off, pity really as I think if Suarez didn't get that goal, we would have beaten them I'm pretty sure we would have scored at least another goal.
-
Have we ever won at Anfield?
-
Disagree. Apologies for making en masse assumptions(!) but I really think people's perception of our performances are very strongly influenced by scorelines. That's not to say scorelines have no bearing on performances, they're clearly one of the most important parts, but we weren't largely better or worse second half. Same slow start. Same lost look. Same tactic of every person on the pitch pass to Ba, then Cisse - no matter who you are, who is around you or who is on the pitch. If Lukaku had managed to beat Tim Krul twice first half from his chances, I really don't think anyone would say it was a good first half. I know Demba Ba had a few chances/half-chances he didn't convert too btw. Absolutely spot on that, sums it up in a nut shell really.

Hey were going to win the Europa League, Yipppeee.
-
I'd definitely take Anita off for Cabaye, midfield is to defensive. Should be attacking these guys.

Have to say Fergie has been fantastic, One sweet left foot on that boy.
