Never been more certain we'll win than this.

Weren't we linked with Skjelbred once?

Cabaye and Saha called up, not Ben Arfa.

What about Ba,Cisse,Cabaye and Tiote? Not sure about QPR, a few close efforts from distance and maybe a chance wasted. On the whole pretty comfortable. The rest I agree with.

Just thinking how good it would be if both Arsenal and Chelsea fail to win. A loss at Spurs wouldn't be so bad then.

When is the squad announced? The game's on Feb 29 (and not 26) and the squad announced on Feb 23. Where will it be announced?

Hopefully Perch and Gosling Hopefully Perch? We'll bloody need him man. Rather Abeid. I know he's only played once but I don't believe for a minute he's any worse than Perch and probably already better. have you seen the past two games? perch was one of the better players... 2 games doesn't change my perception of how good he is as a footballer, that said it would be harsh given how well he did to drop him. I'd still feel happier if Abeid started

Pre-season specialist Haris Vučkić joins FC Twente

This. I watched the game again on Monday and while I thought he played well at the time he played much better than I thought. Really outstanding performance. I'm not dismissing his performance at all, he did very well, but, and this is an unpopular view point, Perch played a big role in that, since he has no ability whatsover going forward, he just sat in there and played the destroyer role, freeing Guthrie up to do what he does best which is to supply a little creativity. Still backing up Tiote and Cabaye though despite his fine form, those two are by a mile our top pairing in the middle. Looked a decent player when we bought him and has now performed consistently well over 12 games this season. He was outstanding on Sunday and Perch was an excellent foil for him as you rightly say. Biggest compliment they can be paid is that we did not miss Cabaye and Tiote. Not sure about that.

I think both are making mistakes here. 1.There is no possibility Obertan/Taylor are more effective. They may track back more but I think we can afford 1 player who doesn't work as hard baring in mind how good he is. 2.HBA knows the reason he isn't playing, IF he was that desperate to play he would be trying to match the work rate of Jonas and not give Pardew a reason to leave him out.

They deserved to be level whether they scored or not, Pardew knew this and would have addressed it at ht.

How? The person who is playing in his position gets stretched off. He still doesn't come on. The second position he plays gets injured freeing up a slot to come on for Ba/Cisse late in the game but he's still behind Shola and probabaly Lovenkrands.
