Barton's a thinking player, there's no way he'll leave Bale to bomb into empty grass all game. -

Massive bonus Bale is left back. -
Barnetta is having knee surgery so I doubt it.

Delfonso or Delfonzo will do. How good is he btw? Only seen little glimpses, looks very lightweight but quick.

Ameobi new 5 and half year deal is the big news.

In reality, around 12m.

Anyone got any strategies that have proven successful? -
I'm pretty sure Torres going off to Bolton would be a bit more shocking Thinking about it, it would be fucking hilarious.

And, amidst all the over the top, ridiculous media reaction to this, what is forgotten is that we know this more than most clubs, having watched Barry fuck off for money (complaints from media about players moving for money then? Zero) and Milner go the following season. Absolutely, it most be annoying as fuck see your team built over a period of years and then it gets torn away by a club that have done fuck all but fortunately got taken over by some sugar daddy. If you don't make the Champions League in the first few seasons of having that team then they'll leave one by one eventually, and then you're back to square one.

It really is a mess for Sunderland, and very discouraging for the fans. The blow would be softened if he had have gone to a top 4 or 5 club, but the fact he's left to go join a team that are struggling to creep back in to the top 10 would be hard to take. It makes you wonder how far you can progress when your best players are wanting to leave so easily.

Fingers crossed. That would be great if he got a nice move to the real United, that would allow the media to really about him in public at long last. No matter where he goes (apart from Sunderland) I'll not be a little bit bitter, top guy. Seriously? Yeah serious, he's been a fantastic player for us and stayed when we were in the shit. He praises the fans at every opportunity and even bothered to try interact with them (not so successfully ) Sometimes you've got to accept that not every player is going to stay here for their whole career, especially if they feel moving on will improve them as a player.

Not that bad but in terms of replacing a 15-20 goal a season striker then it's a disaster.

Keep going I was enjoying it

No Carrol? He's injured Look at their bench ffs -
Still your weaklink (along with DM) IMO. No way. Ekotto is one of our most important players and is ridiculously underrated. He's been exceptional since Arry's been here and doesn't get the credit he deserves. Dm is a weak link i guess but Palacios is slowly getting some form back and Sandro looks promising. Our biggest weak link is upfront and rb when Hutton plays (altough i hae to admit he's been damn good recently)....still don't trust him though. One of your most important? Over whom?

What the hell is wrong with Arshavin. Confidence is shot.
-
He's made a new MySpace account.

Pienaar's off to Tottenham.

Good deal in terms of money but a bad one in general IMO. You can't afford to sell players who end up getting 15-20 league goals a season even for a fee like one the been suggested. 24m on a replacement striker would struggle to equal or better that.

Unsurprisingly didn't make Garth Crook's shithouse of a selection for team of the week, not even in the stupid little squad he compiled

Don't condone reactions like that regardless of the decision. Embarassing from Rafael.
