I think his character is a problem but we've got a fantastic group for him to join, I don't believe he could effect the group because he's just one player. I'd be worried if we had 2 or 3. He's a very good player and a type of midfield we need, so on loan would be good imo.

To be fair Reid is a decent player, has a quality left foot and linking up with someone like Jose could do us a world of good. Can also play anywhere across the midfield. Not the quickest mind, could do with some real pace in the team... Signing a decent player would be stupid, surely that's the whole reason why we haven't signed anyone yet because there are only decent players available. I feel our starting eleven is good enough that we don't need to sign anymore stop gaps and should be looking to sign players who will improve the team instantly i.e Ben Arfa.
