  1. Tallinn away was it? Just a hop over the border I assume. His post match interview on keeping clean shits was great.
  2. Because he hasn't got very long left on his contract and has repeatedly been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
  3. They wouldn't be paying wages if they let them go, although would it cost them to terminate with only 6 months left?

Back for Blackburn mate. Might make the bench is what I've heard. That Ben Arfa comment
  5. Mainly because one is simple and effective, and the other tries to be too clever and ends up on his arse. Jonas would be a much better player, and would be appreciated by alot more fans if he wasn't so damn frustrating. He just doesn't make the right decision half the time. But then half the time he does make the right choice. Thats 50 percent or 1 in 2 times and I like those odds. Once you've got past the stage of making the right choice however you've actually got to carry it through, which a completely new stumbling point altogether Well i can't recall a better left winger since Robert. Btw this might make all the we-hate-Jonas-club happy. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/newcastle-boss-pardew-admits-he-needs-left-winger-signing-1390151 If you read the quotes he actually suggests we need a left back to cover for Enrique.
  6. Right the same guy who said that Carroll would not be leaving under any circumstances. I think it's a slightly different situation
  7. I find it amusing Karen Brady saying Tottenham's bid a joke and Lord Sugar saying West Ham's is a joke

  9. I don't resent Given, at the end of the day if the board are been complete tossers then he's got to think about his career. He stayed in some shitty times despite been one of the best keepers in the league. I'm not going to bow down at his feet but enough is enough if other people aren't pulling their weight. I think you have to ask yourself if he performed for us on a consistent basis, and he was one of our best players year upon year so how can we complain. Given (in fans eyes) is probably a bigger cunt than Boumsong and all the rest of the awful players we've had, but who contributed the most?
  10. Yeah, the MOTD commentator was like "And he modestly named them.."

An 18 year who's scored about 6 goals in 50 odd appearences, and he's worth 10m? I'm not doubting his ability but the price suggested is ridiculous.
  12. According to Rennes fans forum "talented left footed, with a good technique and great passing. But he is injury prone." Adductor injuries in 09 meant he only played 5 league games, however he played 35 league games in 2010 and has played 10 league games this season.
  13. This could become very frustrating, I really hope we can keep our players together for at least one more season because if we spend the money well we could have a good season next year. In terms of Barton, I'm not as worried about this potential news as I would be if it was someone like Enrique or Tiote because there is no club in the top 4 who would go near Barton. If he left he'd end up at somewhere like Villa which won't be highly attractive to him I don't think.
  14. Just watched Rennes top 10 goals 06/07 He was on two of them with free-kicks. He is left footed.
  15. Ginola for me, I'd say Robert is the weakest dribber out of all of them but then again he's probably got more effecting crossing and set pieces.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Yeah rumours of maybe the bench but got to be to early surely

The critcism isn't unfair, he's either playing well or he isn't regardless of his age. I think he does have potential, but at this moment he or any of our other strikers aren't good enough.
