Nice. I had the same apart from having Leeds to draw. In terms of betting, I think these are definitely the best bets. Lower the amount of the teams and up the stake. 4 at a maximum and 2 favourites at a minimum.

Extremely unpredictable. I actually called the Hull draw, but Wigan and Preston lost :/

Pretty underrated film imo. It's one of my favourite films, although not one of the best I've seen. The character of Patrick Bateman is genius though. -

Patrick Van Aanholt from Chelsea signs on one-month loan

I imagine it's going to be almost impossible to sign him. Chelsea won't be sending him out on loan because they want money for the boy, but to give him experience because he's a good prospect. -

John Terry (England Captain!) has been 'playing away from home'
Alberto2005 replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Football
And let's face it the next step down is Rio Ferdinand. I think it's best to stick with John 'Rusty Clotheshanger' Terry for lack of a better option The only reason to strip his captaincy is because the players don't respect him anymore. The only reason. -
Both are priorities tbf. You can't ignore the striking situation. Shola Ameobi looks very good in this league, but will struggle to get 5 league goals in the Premiership. Carroll has done nothing, and I'm not convinced with Lovenkrands. Nile Ranger looks very promising. Our midfield is pretty much terrible. I have no qualms with Guthrie, and Barton will be a useful player once he returns to the squad. Butt and Smith are terrible, and Nolan is almost as bad when played centrally. We need both a central midfielder and a striker. We've seriously missed out on Moses.

Leicester City 0-0 Newcastle United - 30/01/10 - Post match reaction from p25
Alberto2005 replied to Nate's topic in Football
Poor performance. I wouldn't have complained if Leicester had won the game. I knew Hughton wouldn't change the system despite Leicester been down to 10 men; It's not good enough. Hughton and Pearson had a decision to make after that decision, and Hughton's was significantly easier. It was ironic because it was infact Pearson that took the brave choice and Hughton that took the defensive one. I don't understand why he persists with Nolan in central midfield. Kevin Nolan has one good attribute, and that' the attribute to finish; So why not give him the chance to use that? Nile Ranger should also be starting in front of Carroll. The signings were the only positive from this game. 2 points dropped. -

Alberto2005 replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Football
I'd keep him as captain. I realise he's hardly setting a good example, but it's actually nothing to do with football. I think if you take the captaincy off him then his position as an England player becomes much more difficult. -

Wayne Routledge signs 3 year deal with Swansea

Promising debut. -
The only stand out player tonight. He looked solid throughout, especially in the air. He looked confident and was ordering other players around which I liked. Proper center half by the looks.

Benjani is an average striker, so he'll probably fit in well with Liverpool's array of forwards.

It's difficult to disagree with Brummie as he's seen him play and he's a respectable poster, but I think he'll be a good signing.
