Wayne Routledge signs 3 year deal with Swansea

It's nice to sign someone with flair. -
Drinking from the well of bitterness are we? It's no different to most of you lot laughing at Kieron Dyer everytime he breaks his leg now, in the past and in the future. Why wouldn't you want him to do well? Because he left Watford for a better team? He performed well for you didn't he? I think you should appreciate the performances he gave you and realise he made you money. He had no responsibility to stay at Watford.

Barton is a decent player. I'd probably go as far as saying he's our best central midfield, but I think Guthrie is maturing well. Do I think his return will lead to better football? Well, no it won't. He was playing earlier in the season, and the football wasn't much better than it is now despite the better results.

How dramatic. We may squeeze into a playoff position? We're clearly not going to finish any lower than 3rd. Who is going to come above us? I forgot there were all these massive squads in the Championship.

I'm trying to get odds on 14 year old Snooker player Luca Brecel to win the World Championship in the next 10 years. He's already made 147s, and he's already beaten professional Joe Perry and more recently Stephen Hendry 4-1.

I love Mourinho. Last week I was watching some of his interviews from his time at Chelsea. The Premiership misses the uniqueness of the man.

Filipe is a fantastic prospect aswell. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at Barcelona or Madrid in the next few years.
-
That looked shocking. Did you see how much his foot was totally pointing in the wrong direction. He looks a good player aswell when I have watched Depor games this season. Who was it?

La Liga lacks importance. I can't imagine being excited in the slightest about a title race. The quality of teams and football is excellent, but it's not a patch on the Premiership.

Flamini would be a much better option than an unpredictable Gago.

Newcastle United Vs. Crystal Palace Wed. Jan 27th 2010 7:45pm KO
Alberto2005 replied to Fenham Mag's topic in Football
Considering our current form and their current forum, this is probably the worst time to play Crystal Palace. -
BBC have an error, and have the score down as 'Manchester United 0-4 Hull'. Edit: Too late. Why have we signed Mike Williamson. He hasn't even played a game for Portsmouth this season.

Always looked decent.

If we got promotion, why would it mean more to us next season? If we were fighting for our lives to stay up, and had a good chance of doing so due to some key individuals, the Cup would mean the same as it does this season - nowt. If we're comfortably mid-table then the Cup would be different; it'd be nice to see how far we could progress cos Cup runs are a nice add-on to a season, no doubt. I'd rather we just put it to a side this year. There are far more pressing matters. So all cups shouldn't be treated seriously unless you're a top half side? Secondly, it's just another game. I would be more concerned at getting beat and getting into bad habits; i.e Losing. Well no, not really - i think our case is a bit more unique. I'll admit i maybe a went a bit over the top with the 'it means nowt to 88 clubs' comment; but as our say, i think our situation is different. It is so incredibly crucial that we go up this year (cos i think a lot of people will fuck off if we don't, and it'll get harder and harder from then on) - and we've got a small squad. An injury to a key player just doesn't bare thinking about - that's all i'm saying. Just another thing, that i'd quite like to put a lid on, i don't want us to lose. I'm not sure where that's come from. I wasn't implying that. The fact we're playing a weakened team is the basis of why we have a bigger chance of losing.

Then what would be the point of anything if you view it all as hypothetical? What are the chances of Newcastle United winning the F.A Cup? We all know it's beyond extremely unlikely, but is that reason to want to lose the football match for other benefits? I hope not. I don't like any decision that is in fear, because it tells me that they're doing something incorrect.

Wouldn't you?

Nobby Solano signs for Leicester City until the end of the season
Alberto2005 replied to Weznufc's topic in Football
I think he would instead. C'mon, we have Butt and Geremi (I would add Smith to this list, if I wasn't afraid to banned ), how come we didn't need Nobby? Solano isn't a central midfielder. -

I'm quite glad we didn't re-sign him. It wasn't really necessary or going to be profitable for us. -
Oh dear.
