The most pleasing aspect of his performance was the type of saves he made, you can only teach instinct to a certain extent but Krul seems to have the natural grasp of shot stopping.

Coloccini and Enrique had a nightmare today.Coloccini looked extremely weak and never really seems to be in control of what he's doing and as for Enrique he sliced about three clearances backwards and his distribution was off far too much. It frustrates me watching both of these players because they've got talent, Coloccini annoys me more though because I'm not seeing any improvement.

Many thousands die each day, yes. It's different when it's someone you actually knew existed though, and even more different when it's someone you actually knew. It's different degrees of acknowledgment of peoples deaths, it's really all easily understandable and I fail to see why you do not understand it when pretty much everyone else does. I'm gathering they would have been told about the man that he was, anyway, if they're Newcastle supporters it would make sense to respect someone who played a big role at the club.

The lad's a good player, no doubt, I will always have my doubts over his character but considering we're now playing Championship football and not Premiership football we should definitely keep him, he'll piss this league.

Not trying to criticise Serie A but I've never been able to find any interest in that league, doesn't seem to have anywhere near the edge the Premiership and La Liga have.

Fair play, seen nothing like the guy, that's a tribute to his strange but lovable uniqueness.

I'm not excited. I feel annoyed at having to watch us come out with no owner or manager in the first game of the season,watching players that won't even be at the club come the end of the window and the team with the mentality of playing for a guy who won't even be manager in the next month, barely anything to build on because this is probably going to be half the team that completes the season and has missed out on a full pre-season of team preparation simply down to the lack of organisation. All of those problems without taking into account we're in the Championship which ironically and incredibly is the last of our worries, I don't think I could have made that post anymore negative but I don't think any of it isn't the truth.
