  1. Back to his best v Bolton and then murder Liverpool despite all the abuse he'll get there.
  2. Class from Collymore, expose them for what they are.
  3. Good year as it turned out. Was thinking we'd head back for shit times when Carroll left, thought the same when we lost Nolan, Barton and Enrique. As it has turned out, only Enrique can be argued to have benefited from his move, and none of them are missed but him. Still think it was a shame about Carroll, and I really think he'd continued his development at Newcastle, instead of seeing everything fail miserably at that horrible club. Cabaye and Demba are two magnificent signings. Santon looks like he can turn out similar. The emergence of Krul as a top, top keeper, Steven Taylor's resurgence and Best proving to be a decent enough striker are other positives. Coloccini's awesomeness also a plus over the 12 months. We just need to be patient and keep building in the same way. A little luck with injuries and some more shrewd signings and we'll be well on our way back into Europe. Finally, a lot of the credit goes to Pardew. He's mobilised the whole club and managed to cover up for the board room fuck ups. Massively impressed with his vision and calmness. Testing times now, but he was due some after a year of very, very few bad performances.
  4. Really? Looked like he misplaced it to me, and Ba only got to it because of his quick thinking and the WBA defender slipping. Good performance from him though. Would like to see him start ahead of Best on Boxing Day. Other way round for me, Ben Arfa saw the space, Ba reacted quickly enough to spot the same thing, WBA defenders did not.
  5. Looks a far better player than I expected, especially in his first season. The way he bursts forward and uses his strength to keep the ball, really impressive to be his second start. Hope to hell he is fit again soon.
  6. I love this man. Best striker since Shearer in 03/04.
  7. Ollie Bernard - legend. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/7391485/Bernard-condemns-Suarez-stance
  8. Me too. Actually fuming about this. Hate racism in all forms, but what I hate equally as much is the cowardly behaviour of not making a clear stand against it. Does not take much for Liverpool to come out and just condemn all sorts of racism.
  9. McNallyMirror Brian McNally @ @MsiDouglas Wearing T-shirts promoting a player, who abused a fellow pro & referenced his race, confirms Liverpool's self-delusion #lfc Spot on.
  10. Are they making a parody of themselves? Why support someone who's condemned of racism? Worrying if no action is taken against Liverpool.
  11. Alan Hutton looks psychotic in every other game. Serious risk for any player in the league.
  12. Looked motivated today, did not see much of the ball with all the hoofing going on. Still, an assist and one brilliant run. I think he needs his chance at Bolton.

    Alan Pardew

Defensive line was baffling today, did not understand it. Threw Ben Arfa on at the right time, should have been for the woeful Jonas or Obertan instead of Best who was terrific first half. Important that he alters something for Bolton. Hopefully we'll have the Reebok dreamteam reunited on boxing day (Willicini).
  14. Imagine him with two decent wingers.
  15. Has pace to burn, strong, big, good shot, good passer. Needs to calm down at times, but very, very useful. How about we drop one of our (at the time) horrible wingers and play 4-3-3 with Haris, Tioté and Cabaye behind Best, Ba and Hatem?
  16. Twitter account taking the piss out of Liverpool fans: AnfieldFacts Golden King Kenny Fantastic statement from Kenny. Even though he has problems with other colours, Luis loves red and that is what matters.
  17. Is this serious from Dalglish? Very disturbing if so. He wrote: "Very disappointed with today's verdict. "This is the time when @luis16suarez needs our full support. Let's not let him walk alone. KD" Why still back someone who's been proved racist? Why not condemn it?

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Again, three starts so far: City, United and Chelsea. Not fair to judge him on that. I'd definately start him tomorrow.

That back page from the Echo is so fucking terrible, shame on them. Hope he comes on and contributes with an assist or a goal. Will raise his confidence and status with Pardew. We are yet to see him as blistering as he was that day at Goodison, his pace and urgency then was magic, just want to see him against someone else than Manchester United or City, it's hard to prove yourself against those sides after a year out.
  21. Guidetti is nailed on to play for Sweden in the Euro's. My prediction he'll do well with Zlatan and demand to play next season, he's incredibly ambitious and has this bordeline psycho approach to his career, really wants to succeed.
  22. Guidetti is the real deal, have said it many times. Anyway, shit source but this is a lad I'd love it if we signed. http://www.calciomercatoweb.it/ultime-calciomercato/2011/12/19/calciomercato-inter-roma-esclusivo-per-vertonghen-pressing-newcastle/
  23. Still surely around £15m. He was brilliant last season.
  24. I'd stick with declining until someone bids in the excess of £25m. Six years on his contract, no wish to leave etc.
  25. With Cheik by his side, I think it's time for Vuckic. He has ideas and wants to go forward, then let Abeid come on when he gets tired, always runs his socks off Haris. Also, late fitness test for Ryan Taylor? About him being on the bench I'd presume. No way he can drop Santon now.
