  1. Was gonna ask if anyone thinks it's The Mag's own doing, but it's not an entity in itself is it? Isn't just a place for different indy writers to publish their stuff? As in The Mag itself doesn't have a defined agenda? It could easily be The Mag, Mark Jensen absolutely hates Pardew.
  2. That's some made up bullshit from Edwards. It's been said a million times on this forum, but while we're being exposed to billions every season, there's no reason to shift his vehicle to fucking Rangers. He'll settle for naming rights or something.
  3. Slayed me  In fits of giggles Late for work because of this.
  4. Going for Pardew is the only way of influencing the situation. Pardew is an expression of the nonsensical sporting ambition at the club. Forcing him out is the only way to make a stand against that. Our best hope is for Ashley to appoint someone who's not only there to keep things in balance, but bring purpose to our existence. If not, he'll fail miserably like Pardew and we'll force him out too.
  5. This website has given me actual hope again. Feels like a revolution has begun.
  6. List of players I've cared less about: Matty Pattison Christian Bassedas Alan O'Brien
  7. Can we get away fans to throw eggs at it or something?
  8. They're taking the fucking piss not only doing this, but advertising it as something to be celebrated. Everything they do is try and make fans appreciate the club for doing anything other than provide football. We're encouraged to celebrate LED screens, deals with Papa John, balance sheets, deals with Puma and Wonga, low ticket prices, discounts on shitty third-kits and whatever the fuck, as long as it has no connection to Newcastle United winning games or scoring goals or not losing horribly all the time. This isn't a football club anymore.
  9. First two comments below that article...
  10. "Nobby: New boys need time" It's been two years now of not giving a fuck about any other analysis or explanation than the fact we have the worst manager in the league. Everything starts and stops with Pardew.
  11. Nothing about his appointment was football related. He's onboard with the whole charade here, we're not even trying and he knows it. It was his lifeline back into the spotlight after his failures at West Ham, Charlton and Southampton. He probably agreed to be the mouthpiece etc. to oversee the uncomfortable side business called football.
  12. I think Pardew has something to do with this.
  13. I still think Pardew is the ultimate expression of his limitation of Newcastle United. We're signing better players than we did during his predecessor and in the first tages of his tenure, the squad has repeatedly been filled with players that are moving upwards for the past 3-4 years. Regarding the Sports Direct affiliation and destruction of values at the club, they'd be easier to disregard if events on the pitch weren't an expression of everything that's wrong. Pardew is the reason for this, as he's not only the club's spokesman who's spelling this to us all the time, but also the artist that creates and illustrates what's wrong with Ashley's NUFC once a week. There's a team capable of something being played every week, but undeniably held back and harmed by the ultimate expression of Ashley's non-existant sporting ambitions. I'd find it possible to enjoy supporting the club if Pardew's Ashley-related excursions didn't occur.
  14. I'm not aware that they've ever taken legal action against any newspaper? They've threatened to but have we seen them in court, and win? As for the Independent article, the newspaper says it 'understands', and carries no direct quotes. Also, as the games in question have yet to take place, how can we ascertain that the article has 'no substance. It's not actionable even if he lasts until 2018. They've banned papers for "false and misleading reports". It's as hypocrite you can get, but they've done it.
  15. This is weirdly enough a gift. I thought he'd be Pardew's new match-winner, the one to score undeserved opportunistic goals when we don't create shit. We'll struggle badly now.
  16. Without De Jong we have nothing even resembling a goalscorer. We'll be fucking dreadful until he's fucked off with us lingering close to relegation. I think when the moment comes, it will be top 10 NUFC related. Which is sad. I'll probably cry.

    Adam Armstrong

He'll never, ever excel under Pardew. We need him the fuck out to see a player like Armstrong break through.
  18. Too much hatred and abuse will reflect badly on all the Sports Direct signs. A few Cardiff-esque games more and Ashley will consider it. But it's the fans that will have to make it happen, he won't. The fans will need to force this.
  19. Superb from Simon Bird today. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastles-deadline-day-inactivity-shows-4156394
  20. Written open letter to all fans. On Chronicle shortly.
