  1. Colback will be so hated on this board. Him and Taylor will be Pardew's soldiers this season.
  2. We lost to Leeds before going something like 12 unbeaten at the start of 11/12. We lost to some Portugese fucktards in a similar manner to this last season, it's all irrelevant I think today is probably a good indication that Pardew is still clueless and this season is going to be the same as the last. Nothing has changed in the way we play or the way he picks the team. He still can't get it through his thick head how to set a team up and how to get them to actually play as a team. We're up s*** creek unless the new players can raise our game because Pardew looks incapable of doing it. My point is: maybe, hopefully, new players won't influence his inept nature this time. Maybe his unquestionable shitness will be decisive at some point.
  3. He's crazy. Loved watching him for Hamburg.
  4. Today was good in one way as it indicated we might not go on a Pardewesque "new players and momentum" run. Maybe he's too far down the crack this time.
  5. Players look as disjointed and uninterested as they did between January and May. No idea what to do anywhere on the pitch.
  6. This is basically it. Fucking love this guy. He's football.
  7. Was shocked at this. He wrote something for ESPN the other day as well, wondering whether AP and MA are about to turn things round etc. Not many I respect more than him, expected more. He knows us well too.
  8. We need Yanga to play with a stopper that isn't shit (Williamson) or mentally challenged (Taylor). That's the way forward, not selling him, having Colo injured and suffer from a apocalyptic Taylor/Williamson partnership until Taylor breaks his neck mid-October and we're faced with Williamson/Tioté.
  9. The Fans saying "now is the time to judge Pardew". I think they've overtaken Ryder in my hate-list with regards to NUFC. Only behind Pardew himself now. Fucking dangerous spouting that shit to 50 000 followers.
  10. The fact that we've continued to sign highly rated players for almost four years now, contradicting the fear that he'd get more of a say in transfers (he's never the man behind Cabella), means he's now solely the main obstacle between enjoying NUFC and not caring if we win or lose. Ashley's approach means us finishing around tenth should never be in doubt, that's why he invests when needed, we'll always sign players who at worst should see us finishing mid-table, without any risk of relegation. With this approach, selling players who outgrow the clubs ambition and replacing them with players of Cabella/De Jong/Sissoko's ability, a somewhat decent manager would have us challenging high up the table every now and then. Hopefully the penny drops with regards to Pardew and how much more Ashley could get out of his ownership. I'd honestly enjoy following us if we'd perform close to what is possible, even knowing the owner has other interests and the best players always being likely to go. While he's in charge, the model will be tweaked, it's now more a case of handing him new toys whenever he's broken the ones he's had for the past year.
  11. Cameron is far worse than Ryder's. He's got fucking Mikael Lustig in his.
  12. This cunt needs hell from day one this season. The only thing we can achieve as a club is to get rid of him.
  13. Just got to look at the "Goal of the Season" list to see that. There's a Demba Ba video on YT. My god he was feeding off long balls. Very few organised attacks.
  14. Met someone who knows Linda Ashley (Jerlmyr) yesterday. Didn't find out much of interest, the main message was that Mike is completely bonkers. They own some sort of mansion in Sweden as well, or did when they were still a couple. If they get back together I'll move there and go back to being a mailman and post fake-insults from Pardew until he fires him.
  15. Neither Grenier nor Lacazette will want to come to Newcastle. Our "striker search" will be dull and painful.
  16. What is that? Love him because he makes us miserable? He can eat shit.

  18. Honestly though, who the fuck would send a young player to this man? He's like a dementor in Harry Potter, sucks the life out of every life-form.
  19. Spot on. I would bet that 'Denis Noble' (and all other ashley apologists) still believe he 'wiped our debts', but don't realise he loaned us £100m...the only person who benefited is him with taxes by loaning, in essence, himself £100m. That loan only increased when HE got us relegated and Barclays wouldn't support our £30million premier league overdraft in the championship so he had to inject £29million in cash to bump up the loan to £129 million. So he actually has us loaded with more debt than f shepherd, Denis. The only way he would have lost money is if he converted the debt to equity, in essence writing it off. Not a f*cking chance. I'd love to know where is all our income is going. Having only taken one payment off that debt, it seems he realises that if our debt is paid off then we will be one of the most saleable clubs in world football. If we aren't spending money on players then surely we should be paying off our debt to him as we keep hearing how profitable we are... The same way he keeps the ticket prices low, one of the few ways to realistically boost income under FFFP. Ironically some of those low ticket prices are in 'the biggest family section in england', right in the place where the singing section used to be before he ripped it out because they were signing about him, right next to the away fans who can sign almost unapposed as it's mostly bairns up there. To up ticket prices we'd need constant full houses, or at least a demand for season tickets by playing decent football, or at least attacking football or some ambition... ha ha who the f*ck am I kidding? Now this is more like the p*ss taking we're used to...the boys are back in toon...buy your season tickets... unless they get sold of course then our four best players are gone and no point coming as ben arfa won't play or any flair players at all should be next that * personally..... Why would he be paying it off? It's his main tool here. Their storyline is simple. We were on the verge of going bust, he saved us, took the debt upon himself and made it interest free to stoop us bleeding, he uses that fact as an argument to use all the advertising space for his personal interest. We can't compete with the big clubs about commercial deals as no one will offer us more than we owe Ashley (£8m/year). The end. Him taking that loan is no cost to him, I'm sure he's already been repaid in Sports Direct's growth over the period in which he's had it. Not that it matters, there's plenty of more money to make off this situation.
  20. Debuchy individually is the best I've seen for us. Aaron Hughes was helped by a great team (and Solano) and subsequently played some even better football.
  21. Lee Ryder can't spell or think. And he's getting worse all the time.
  22. Seems like £6.5m is the new £8m, which replaced the previous standard offer of £10m about a year ago.
  23. Old quote from his secret interview in that hotel.
