We need more movement as usual. Anita for Perch, who's done nothing first half. Could see Campbell exploiting the space as well. Good start but we've invited them back into it, as expected. -

Pards and his tackle. Anita should be in ahead of Perch. -
THAT'S. MY. NAME. There is a Noah Ameobi. I don't know. What do I do? How do I react to this? Call your son, Shola. Aye. There's no other way. I need a picture of this guy. For some reason I just imagine Shola coming out on the steps of SJP where Shearer was introduced to the fans like Rafiki did with Simba.

Will stand our ground for 30 mins, implode and concede twice before half time, come out fighting, Cissé will tap in from an offside position but get flagged offside. We will then concede a third around 70 mins shortly after someone (Cabaye) gets sent off. Shola will come on and the Alan Pardew thread on here will explode. 3-0 Benfica. -
Pardew has always had the advantage of being Ashley's choice after agreeing to work on his premises, other than that there wasn't much to explain his appointment. In my opinion, it seems as if Ashley has moved forward and developed in his role in the past few years, i.e since Pardew took charge. With our current setup and ability to spot and recruit talent - is it really still unthinkable that a good manager with continental pedigree would be interested only because it's Ashley?

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
AlanSkÃrare replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Why not buy someone less stationary? Our problem isn't just Pardew or Cissé when it comes to our non-flowing football. We lack players who move off the ball. Anita, Sissoko and Gouffran pull defenders out of position, Hatem when on the ball and there's also Debuchy to some extent. Still too few. When playing with a lone striker you need someone who has a presence in the box but also runs the channels and makes space for his wingers. Our attacking play is way too static, we never stretch defences and neither Carroll nor Cissé is the type of striker to solve that. The way Carroll was playing "in his prime", he looked like the sort of complete forward you'd like here. Doing a bit of everything, kind of like Ba would do. -
Wasn't Matic at Chelsea for a while?

I was at Charlton-Bolton on Saturday. He was largely anonymous and subbed mid second half. I'd definately have him on the form he showed 2 years ago though.

Ashley and Llambias will want to see some sort of turnaround sooner rather than later. I wouldn't have been that bothered if we hadn't been in possession of such a capable squad. 3 pts off relegation with 7 games to go. Fucking hell.

Aye if we went there with Krul Debuchy Coloccini Yanga-Mbiwa Santon Cabaye Tioté Ben Arfa Sissoko Gouffran Cissé ...I would fancy us.

We've also been beaten by Reading and Wigan recently. And Anzhi are nowhere near Man United or Man City. Strange the manager didn't bring that up in his interview like. You're right I shouldn't have brought it up on this internet forum either. -

We need three wins there to be safe. Doubt we'll win at WBA. Liverpool looked relaxed and could well cause us trouble at SJP as well.

Half of that is pushing it for us And he's 27.

Pardew fears whoever we play.

Manchester City vs Newcastle United - 30/03/13 @ 3pm (not on TV)
AlanSkÃrare replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
Its not on any UK TV channels. But I'm sure plenty of places in London will have foreign channels. Just depends on whether or not you can convince one of them to put on any of the 30-40 channels worldwide that are showing the game. Ok thanks. Any place to recommend anyone? -

I see the "not on tv". Does this mean I won't find a bar in London that shows this tomorrow? -
Passed fit for City according to Douglas.

Me too. And it could spell disaster. -
How much allocation are we getting all in all? No loyalty points and I know Swedish fans are starting to get ahold of tickets. Devastated I can't go myself.
