  2. Very good question. Injuries never hit teams this hard. It's as if we've called on disabled people when he's describing the situation.
  3. Even the commentator made some remark about Cabaye being used in a quarter-back role.
  4. Anita. Good teams don't use a destructive player with no constructive sides to his game. Anita can protect and cover that hole and distribute the ball.

Surely going at the end of the season.
  6. Horrible performane, gradually getting worse. The reason we might stay up is because this lad basically won us a few games before he was drilled into Pardewism.
  7. I can't believe Shola is on ahead of him when we need to counter-attack. Fucking insanity. Should be given a start, we need someone who cares and can threaten in behind.

That interview is unbeilievable. I want to put together a document with all his excuses from this season. All the blame he's directed away from himself. Only one or two occasions he's taken any blame.

Hopefully we'll now move on to the curvlinear triangle. http://www.fun-stuff-to-do.com/images/Geometric-shape-names-basic-1150.jpg
  10. I want someone hungry. Montanier seems very interesting.

That's my worry. Ashley is a novice in these circumstances. Not sure he will recognize what's going on but rather stick with Pardew and hope for better rewards next season. Fully agree in general. It's a breaking point for where we're heading at the moment. There's no way we'll progress under Pardew, it's there for anyone with a bit of understanding about football to see. Unfortunately I'm not convinced Ashley and Llambias possess that understanding yet.
  12. Tiote Cabaye Sissoko HBA Carroll Cisse Looks good. No pace or movement apart from Sissoko.
  13. He's played some fantastic football for us, I think that's the reason more than his geographic origin. He's been pretty ordinary since he left which we tend to gloss over because of his geographical origin. I don't think anyone has actually glossed over this. Most saying they'd have him back, have acknowledged that he's yet to recapture the form he displayed here. However, at the minute, it looks as if he's going some way to doing just that. It might be an illusion and foregone conclusion that some cling onto, yes. Another take on it would be this: we're the only set of fans who's truly seen what Andy Carroll on form is capable of, game in and game out. In 2010, he was a monster from that game at WBA until we sold him. Of course his performances since have casted doubts over what his actual ability and contribution is, but we know there's a player in there that most fans haven't seen.

So tired of the word shape. Fuck shape let's move instead. It's not a sculpture.
  15. This. We are becoming a rarity in our static appearance. I watch quite a bit of football from all over Europe. There are teams in Sweden moving about better than us. It's as if we have forgotten about the basics of attacking. Sissoko, Marveaux and Ben Arfa are moving when they're on the ball. Debuchy ploughs is channel. Nothing else.
  16. He's played some fantastic football for us, I think that's the reason more than his geographic origin.
  17. Gets a lot of s*** from some of our mongs but he's a better defender than Santon or Debuchy (thus far). Pretty limited on the ball mind.
  18. Can't cross, can't run, can't pass, can't dribble, can't do throw-ins and backs off. Can hold his position and shut his wing down when the team is defending as a unit.
  19. Missed it and can't subscribe atm for some reason, won't accept my card. (Sounds like the shittiest story ever). If anyone has it and wants to PM me I'd be very grateful.

Good read from Douglas that. First time the issue has been discussed from them. Also refreshing to read that there is reviewing and consideration to be done at boardroom level regardless of how we finish the season. At the time of Pardew's appointment, MA and DL hadn't shown the increased understanding of football that the recent transfer window showed for example. I also think the 5th place might have given them taste for actual sporting success, and the income it could bring would be appealing to them. Playing shit football isn't doing any good for the club's brand either.
