The major error was playing two guys in midfield that were happy to let the opposition have the ball without putting any pressure on them Are you saying it was a tactical error to not tell Colback and Anita to push on? If so, I'd probably agree although that passed me by during the game. I'm not having the Obertan craic though, there's at least two players on the bench who would've contributed more.

Bit of a sickener, we badly need him in the side but he looks like he could do with a couple of weeks on the bench without coming on to teach him a lesson. He's been fouled twice today and somehow he got talked to. :lol: He jumped in to the challenge and landed with his studs on the guys feet ffs And that tells you enough about him that he gets talked to when fouled. He was trying to protect the ball with his body, as Pelle was doing all game against Everton. Weird isn't it, I saw a full blooded, badly attempted challenge. He hit the floor, not the player.

His major error today was starting Obertan again, Aarons may not be fit enough but Perez must be. After that, I haven't got any major gripes with him today. I think it's ludicrous to suggest he was in any way complicit in the sending off, that was all Janmaat's stupidity, and I haven't got a problem with shutting up shop and avoiding a thrashing.
