The way I understood the Sky interview was more of a way to motivate the crowd (and players/staff) before a huge game, not a panic because people are being mean. The way you understand everything is that protest doesn't work Fucking waste of time this.

The biggest achievement of the protests was the investment in the coaching setup and the team, but you'd already made your mind up about them being ineffectual so you're attributing those things to a fear of relegation. You're also forgetting that the biggest aspect of the AO protest is the website, which is a constant source of info available to everyone.

Nice post It might be nice, but it's missing a very important point. The prospect of ENTERTAINMENT is directly related to the protest he's disregarding. If it wasn't for SackPardew and AshleyOut it would be business as usual. That's not just guess work, btw, plenty of respected journalists have spoken about the impact of the protests on those running the club.

Just want to see an improved team selection and performance in this one. A point would be a good result and help in our recovery.

You've said yourself that you hadn't watched the game yesterday yet you're having a go at people for how they reacted against Swansea (feeling self righteous) because of our result against Man U which you hadn't/haven't even seen. Howay Mick, I don't think I need to watch the 90 minutes against Man United to make the point. Everything I've read about it on here and elsewhere suggests it was a hard fought draw based on resolve, commitment and team spirit, if I'm mistaken feel free to correct me. I'm not trying to have a go, if it came across like that then I've not expressed myself accurately.
