Like Dave says though, Sherwood's only been in the job for 20 matches. Bit harsh writing him off as 'shit' imo. For me, if he can make a group of players 1% better than the sum of their parts, he's a better bet than Pardew.

I'd be willing to give Sherwood a go tbh. He's been in a bit of a weird situation in the Spurs job where he was given a very short contract and has been using it as a shop window to try and get himself a new job. We've been having the conversation about Ashley's motives for the club for years as well. Long term exposure (ie 15 years) for his brand would have cost him there or thereabouts what he's spent. This way he gets SD anywhere and everywhere he wants, plus the extra column inches and mentions of SD anytime we're reported on. It makes perfect sense.
